Description

Philips 9-watt PL-S TUV PL-S Compact Fluorescent Non-Integrated (CFL-ni) lamps are compact UVC (germicidal) lamps used in residential water and air disinfection units. The compact size of the lamp allows for a small system design and design flexibility. TUV PL-S lamps have a protective inside coating that ensures contact UV output over their complete lifetime for maximum security of disinfection and high system efficacy. Thanks to the single-ended lamp base, lamp replacement is easy.

Same quality brand bulb for my Electrolux Guardian Air Platinum for a reasonable price. If course, it fits and works as it should. Replace it yourself and save, it's simple. Time will tell how long it will last, but I expect it will last several years like the exact same bulb I replaced.

    • Most lasted a year or more
Recently had to change the bulbs out. AC tech said that 1 bulb was out. It was about a year maybe a year and 1 month so whether this last a year, I’m not sure since it was slightly over a year since I replaced them. The other 3 were still working. So they will last a year or so.

Perfect for my in house filter system. Worked right away when installed and very easy, just plug it into the slot. I have been using these bulbs for many years. They last about two years, sometimes a little more.

The only brand I have confidence in is Phillips. I've tried two other brands, Kittnip and Coospider. They are not long-lasting. Considering that replacing bulbs in your HVAC system requires a goodly amount of work, I would recommend this better quality bulb.
