  • Solid IPS Display Offering Clear, Comfortable Viewing Solid IPS Display Offering Clear, Comfortable Viewing
Size: 22 inch 120Hz
The Philips 22E2N1100 delivers a surprisingly capable package for a compact 22‑inch display, especially considering its price point and lightweight design. The IPS panel produces sharp 1080p output with consistent color and clarity across its 178° viewing angles, which makes it well‑suited for productivity tasks, streaming, and general daily use. Text rendering is clean, and the panel uniformity is better than expected for this class, giving spreadsheets, documents, and browser windows a crisp, easy‑to‑read appearance. Assembly is simple and tool‑free: the upright snaps into the back of the panel, and the base locks into place with a firm click. Once set up, the monitor offers a smooth forward/backward tilt range that makes it easy to dial in a comfortable angle. While the stand doesn’t include height adjustment, the unit is VESA‑compatible, so it can be mounted to an arm or bracket for a more ergonomic setup. Performance is where this model stands out. The overclockable 120Hz refresh rate and 1ms MPRT response time give everyday navigation a noticeably smoother feel compared to standard 60Hz office monitors. Scrolling, window movement, and UI animations all benefit from the higher refresh rate, and casual gaming sees reduced blur and better motion handling. Adaptive‑Sync support helps minimize tearing when frame rates fluctuate, keeping visuals stable and fluid. Connectivity is straightforward, with HDMI and VGA inputs covering both modern and legacy devices. The inclusion of audio in/out is useful for setups that route sound through external speakers or headphones, though it’s important to note that the monitor itself does not include built‑in speakers. Users relying on laptop audio or external sound sources will have no issues, but anyone expecting integrated audio will need an additional solution. The monitor’s eye‑comfort features are genuinely helpful for long sessions. LowBlue Mode reduces blue‑light intensity without overly distorting color, Flicker‑Free technology prevents the subtle flicker that can cause fatigue over time, and EasyRead mode provides a paper‑like contrast profile ideal for reading long articles or documents. Overall, this display focuses on delivering a clean, reliable visual experience without unnecessary extras. It’s lightweight, easy to set up, and offers strong performance for its size and price. For home offices, secondary displays, students, or anyone wanting a smooth, clear Full HD monitor, it’s a practical and dependable choice. ... show more

  • Crisp Secondary Display for a More Productive Desk Crisp Secondary Display for a More Productive Desk
Size: 22 inch 120Hz
Transitioning from a 14 inch laptop screen to this 22 inch display has made a world of difference for my daily workflow. While the laptop is great for portability, having this extra real estate as my primary screen allows for much better organization of windows and documents without everything feeling cramped. The IPS panel really shines here, offering image clarity and color accuracy that I didn't expect at this price point. Everything looks sharp and the text is easy to read, which is a huge relief when spending several hours staring at code or spreadsheets. The setup process was straightforward, and I appreciated that it came with an HDMI cable and a relatively small power adapter that doesn't hog space on the power strip. It is worth noting that the inputs are limited to HDMI and VGA, so there is no USB-C connectivity, but for a budget friendly monitor from a brand like Philips, that's a fair trade off. The stand feels sturdy, and while it doesn't offer height adjustment, the tilt function is smooth enough to find a comfortable viewing angle. Since it supports standard mounting, I’m actually considering moving it onto a monitor arm later to reclaim some desk space. One of the more impressive aspects is the variety of built in viewing modes. Having specific presets like "EasyRead" for long articles or "LowBlue Mode" for evening sessions helps reduce eye strain significantly. The 120Hz refresh rate is a nice touch that makes scrolling and general movement on the screen feel much more fluid than a standard 60Hz office monitor. Even when I’m just navigating through folders or browsing the web, that extra smoothness is a detail you start to notice and appreciate almost immediately. Ultimately, for the investment required, it’s hard to find much to complain about. It delivers a very reliable and consistent visual experience without the "budget" feel you get from some off brand displays. Whether you are using it for office work, watching movies, or just as a way to expand your laptop’s desktop, it handles the job effectively. It’s a practical, no nonsense piece of hardware that focuses on providing a solid picture and a fast response time, making it a very easy recommendation for a home office upgrade. ... show more

  • Better than average for active sync but not the best.
Size: 22 inch 120Hz
This is a very good price for an active sync monitor but the performance is not at the top. Do a search for active sync tests. The monitor supports active sync as advertised but compared to a 10 year old monitor that supports active sync it was not as good. The monitor is nice and lite weight. The picture is clear and bright but there was some image tearing when performing the sync test. I would still recommend the monitor given the performance because of the great price. It meets my needs but is not up to par for my sons who are into gaming. ... show more

  • Wonderful value for the price monitor! Couldn't be happier
Size: 22 inch 120Hz
For 70 dollars, this monitor rocks. It's the perfect size for smaller desk area or as a second monitor (which is what I use it for with my laptop). The stand is well made, sturdy, and seems to be a decent size for the screen, though not super heavy--but that's fine because the monitor itself is extremely light. The stand's connection point was designed with a slight vertical swivel to it, so you can adjust it up or down depending on your viewing angle. It was very easy to connect and start using immediately. Just plug and play, and I haven't had any issues with latency or lag. It's got some cool preset features for different tasks, along with an auto-adjusting brightness feature for the content on the screen (you can turn this off if it bothers you). As I mentioned above, when I got this monitor, it was listed at $69.99, which is a great value for a reliable monitor. Note, to get the max 120Hz refresh rate out of it, you have to go into the settings and enable it. Otherwise, it defaults to a regular 60Hz, I believe. I was on the lookout for a new monitor, and I have zero regrets getting this one. Great value for the price! ... show more

  • Clean Minimalist Monitor That Doesn’t Dominate Your Desk Clean Minimalist Monitor That Doesn’t Dominate Your Desk
Size: 22 inch 120Hz
This monitor is what I was looking for. It has a very clean, minimalist look in person with thin bezels that make it feel more modern and premium than I expected. One thing I specifically appreciated is the size. For work, I use two very large monitors, so I’m very used to having a ton of screen real estate. But for my personal setup, I actually didn’t want something massive that made my desk feel like an office. I wanted something noticeably bigger than my laptop screen without completely taking over my space — and this ended up being the perfect middle ground. It sits really nicely at eye level on my monitor stand, feels comfortable to use, but still keeps the desk feeling clean and uncluttered. I like the stand for both practical use and that it looks clean. What I Loved: - Smooth 120Hz refresh rate - Great “in between” size for personal use - Bigger than a laptop screen without feeling oversized - Fits nicely on a desk without dominating the space - Easy setup I also included photos of it in my real desk setup because I know monitor sizes can be difficult to visualize online. Seeing it next to a full keyboard and desk accessories helped show the scale better. A couple things to note: - This feels more geared toward productivity, school, browsing, and casual gaming than hardcore competitive gaming This monitor is one of those products where you get more than you expect, especially if you want a clean, functional setup without a giant bulky screen. ... show more

  • Great Secondary Monitor, Just Check Your Ports Great Secondary Monitor, Just Check Your Ports
Size: 22 inch 120Hz
I picked this up as a secondary monitor and it's worked really well for my setup so far. The display looks great, colors are clear and the image doesn't seem fuzzy to me. I was a little concerned going from my 27" main monitor to a 22" screen but it's been a perfect size for chats, Discord, web browsing, guides, and pulling things up on the side while gaming. The bezels are nice and thin. I tested for backlight bleed and didn't notice any issues on my unit. Also, the monitor menus are easy and straightforward to navigate. One thing to be aware of is connectivity. This monitor only has HDMI and VGA ports. My older GPU only had one HDMI port and multiple DisplayPort outputs so I needed an active DisplayPort to HDMI adapter to get it working. I originally tried a passive adapter and that did not work in my setup, so double check compatibility before buying adapters. Can't really comment on the 120Hz refresh rate since I don't play high FPS games to meaningfully compare. Overall, I'm happy with it. Personally, I probably wouldn't choose this as my main gaming display, but as a secondary monitor it does exactly what I need and looks clean doing it. ... show more

  • Basic monitor
Size: 22 inch 120Hz
This is a very basic budget monitor that is very light and easy to transport if needed. It is smaller than what is popular today but that can be a plus. PROS: excellent weight, extremely light for a monitor, very easy to move, extremely plug and play, does 120Hz 1080p just fine CONS: washed-out color rendering, needs its own power brick instead of taking a standard cable , connectivity is limited with only one HDMI port and one VGA port. A VGA is good for backwards compatibility but likely not much else. VERDICT: reasonably priced and works well, great for transporting around, experimenting, etc. will do the job for someone who just wants a monitor to look at text. Not so great for gaming, large spreadsheets, etc. ... show more

  • Picture quality is very good Picture quality is very good
Size: 22 inch 120Hz
22inch Philips Monitor It came well packaged in a secure box with padding. Includes an HDMI cable, Wall Plug, Important Information Manual, Quick Start Guide, Philips Quarantee, and a Stand The monitor can be tilted frontward or backwards for viewing (more backwards than forward) The picture quality is good but I have been unable to get the sound to work! I wanted this monitor to use with my laptop so I could watch movies and my TV shows on a larger screen. This monitor works fine for that purpose. I just wish I could get the sound to work. I may have to get some external speakers or Bluetooth. Either way this was a worthwhile option. I can still use the sound from my laptop! ... show more
