I threw it onto the bed and the second my husband crawled into it I said don't get attached. It's too heavy and warm so I'm returning it. He looked more offended than I'd ever seen before in my life. He immediately fell in love with it. I said fine, I'll give it a week. Well, I ended up falling in love with it just as much. It is absolutely stunning, but more than that this is the snuggliest, softest blanket I have ever owned that isn't a fur that gets all matted up. Even the lining on the other side is super soft. It is extremely warm but I like to twist around in it until I am comfortable. The crushed velvet side is always cool to the touch. It is very heavy byt I pretty much decided this is one of the best purchases I have ever made when I washed it and it didn't destroy my machines from the weight of it. I get so many compliments on it and can't believe I almost returned it. I can't even sleep without it well. I have bouhht bedding on amazon before, the quality is unmatched. I wish they had more colors, my daughter crawls in with us every night and begs us for her own set but she wants it in pink. I'm too nervous to buy from other brands because this one blew me away so much lol please make more colors!

I’ve had this comforter for about a month now. The is very nice. Looks nice and is soft and comfy. I only have 2 minor complaints, one of which would be a positive for some. Minor Complaint #1: The material and stuffing is only connected/stitched around the edges so when making the bed it takes some extra time to smooth out the wrinkles and to make the comforter look neat. It can get a little sloppy and lumpy looking. BUT the material is nice and it looks much more expensive than it actually is. Minor Complaint #2 (that is likely a plus for others): This comforter is WARM!! I live in San Diego, CA and in the winter our lowest temps are in the 40’s (if that low). My boyfriend runs very warm. This comforter is so warm that every night I have to pull it off of him because he is drenched in sweat. This didn’t happen with our prior comforter. If it was just me in the bed, I would likely be fine but the furnace next to me is making it so I am considering finding a different option. Positives: It is nice and fluffy. The material is nice and soft. Doesn’t look cheap. Really comfy. Overall I really like it, but it might not be the best for our situation due to how warm it is. Only complaints are minor and just takes a bit of extra time to make the bed look nice.

EDIT 1/3/25. I ORIGINALLY posted how great this comforter is. Today, after the 2nd time washing since owning, it came out with a ring like feature of what appears to look like bleach stains and its hard as a rock and ruined in that section. I never use bleach in my washer, washer is very large and has no problems washing any comforters. I used same washing machine, same detergent as the original wash after receiving. Totally devasted because I loved this comforter. But $90, not even 3 months old and only washed 2x, very disappointed. Amazing comforter. I am impressed by the quality. Better than expected. Runs smaller though. Buy King size for a Queen bed, If own a King I don't recommend because will be too small for sure. It is heavy and wont fit in a standard washer to clean, so prepare to take in to get washed before use. VERY soft and comfy, will def keep warm.the standard pillow cases are odd shaped and do not work good for standard pillows, they are more squared then rectangle so very baggy at top and bottom and way too big for throw pillows see 2nd photo. King size are perfect fit for my bamboo pillows tho,which I've always have a hard time finding some that are not too tight. See 3rd pic. Overall very happy with purchase, Price and quality are again better than expected.

I’m editing my review. Initially I complained about missing one pillow case but the company reached out and offered to reimburse the amount for pillow cases or send 2 new ones. I was very surprised and pleased to see how quick they were to respond with a reasonable solution. Besides the mishap, I actually love the set (which I mentioned in my first review) the color was right, the quality was right, it’s very soft on both sides and feels smooth on the skin. It doesn’t make you sweat but it keeps you warm. If I had another bed I would order another set.
