Scent: Coastal Dream
I have quite a few fragrances from Pureu at this point, so I already had a pretty good idea of the quality I was getting with Coastal Dream. This one is labeled as a cologne, but between the pink and blue bottle and the actual scent, I would absolutely consider it unisex. It’s not particularly girly, but it doesn’t smell distinctly masculine to me either. My first spray was weirdly green and grassy for about two seconds, and then the citrus came flying in. Once I checked the notes, that made considerably more sense because the entire top is citron, Calabrian bergamot and Sicilian orange. The orange is especially obvious to my nose. It’s bright, juicy and almost orange-peel citrus rather than sugary orange candy. The heart is neroli, ginger and green tea, with amber, incense and guaiac wood underneath. I don’t pick out the green tea individually, and the incense and wood never get heavy enough to turn this into a dark woody cologne. I do get some amber as it dries down, but citrus continues to dominate on my skin. The best description I can come up with is walking into a freshly cleaned Jamba Juice. There’s all that juicy citrus in the air, but underneath it is something crisp, green and clean. It feels very summery and freshly showered but not soapy, and it’s not overpowering. This isn’t my personal favorite Pureu scent because I tend to gravitate toward sweeter, more feminine fragrances, but I still think it smells really good! Presentation is also excellent for the price. The 50mL bottle is substantial heavy glass, the cap fits satisfyingly snug, and the atomizer puts out a really nice fine mist. It arrived in a proper gift box with a foam cutout fitted around the bottle. The listing calls it a 30% oil concentration EDP and claims 8 to 12 hours of wear. On me personally the citrus is already softening fairly quickly on my skin after just an hour, but the longevity seems more promising on clothing. For me, Coastal Dream is a clean, juicy, citrus-forward fragrance that sits very comfortably in unisex territory.

Scent: Coastal Dream
This fragrance is immensely confusing to me. On first glance the notes on amazon here are the exact same notes that you would find for Imagination a prolific and highly popular modern luxury fragrance right now. I’ve smelled a bunch of different versions and inspirations of Imagination and so I can confidently say Coastal Dream does not smell anything like Imagination whatsoever. I am a little lost on what exactly this may be a clone of as with the notes provided I’d expect this must be a clone of something else. What I can say about the scent of this fragrance is I get a nice fresh zesty orange peel type smell off the opening along with maybe some lemon and the actual orange fruit pulp itself. That is somehow where it ends though in development which is baffling to me I literally just get citrus from this so my presumption is this is maybe supposed to be an inspiration of Afternoon Swim instead. I would have almost assumed just the notes slide alone was incorrect because there is citrus in Imagination but the selling point of it is actually the clean soapy tea and spice which is commonly compared to a luxury bar of soap. In this case again all I get is citrus there is no tea or spice coming through as you would expect in Imagination. To concentrate more on the juice in the bottle I got I actually would say I’m a pretty big fan of the citrus profile they have going here. I really love zesty citruses and this really gives you a nice fresh citrus that still bites at you. There is maybe some faint hints of other notes some aromatics or spice but you predominately get the zesty citrus super linear honestly but enjoyable to me. Performance is rather average here and I really mean average for a citrus freshie of this kind so it only projects for a solid hour or two and then becomes a skin scent. This isn’t really nuclear or anything either so I’d almost say below average to modern standards of what I feel most people typically want these days in “nuclear” performance. All in all this fragrance isn’t bad for what it is but it also just isn’t what is advertised here on amazon whatsoever. Not really sure what to rate this but I think I like it for what it is even though it’ a little weak.

I wouldn't personally describe this as a typical men's cologne. The strongest thing I pick up from it is a very citrus-heavy scent that reminds me of oranges. Since scent is obviously very subjective, I had several other people in my house smell it too, both men and women, and unfortunately the reaction was pretty consistently negative. Because of that, this isn't something I'm going to wear and I'll probably end up gifting it to someone who enjoys stronger citrus scents. I also can't really speak to the pheromone aspect since that's not something I can realistically measure from using it. I do really like the presentation. The bottle looks great and the box it comes in gives it a nice finished appearance. I just wish we liked the actual fragrance as much as the packaging.

I have tried a few PureU fragrances and liked them, so I ordered the PureU Pheromone Cologne for Men in Coastal Dream. Wow, this is my favorite fragrance of the moment and my favorite of all time from PureU. I do have to say that the fragrance description does not quite match the experience. The base notes are absent, but I don’t miss them. The initial spray is sweet and citrusy and floral. I thought it smelled like grapefruit, but looking over the notes in the description it is likely from citron, with maybe a little Calabrian Bergamot. As it dries down a clean citrusy and floral scent takes over. This smells like Neroli to me. This is pretty much where the fragrance stays. The base notes never develop. This scent is sweet and fresh and happy. It is a perfect pick me up scent for the daytime. It reminds me of springtime and orange blossoms. If we ignore that this has a masculine pheromone in it, because pheromones are a little iffy on the evidence that they do anything, this is a unisex scent. It has moderate projections for a couple of hours and then a close scent for a couple of more, and a skin scent that seems to last forever. I would categorize it as moderate to good longevity because it has some amount of projection for probably 4-5 hours, but if we count in the time that the skin scent lasts it has excellent longevity. Even though this scent is not quite as described, is 5 stars for me. I love it. I think I love it more because it does not have the base notes. The price is reasonable for the wonderful scent and the quality, making it a good value.

Scent: Coastal Dream
I’m not a big cologne guy, I haven’t worn any in probably 20+ years. But I came across this one from Pureu called Coastal and decided to give it a try. It’s described as an ocean breeze scent, the kind of thing that feels like the East or West Coast or some exotic island, and that’s always been my favorite place to be. I love the beach and coastal areas, so a scent that reminds me of that sounded perfect. This one didn’t disappoint. Right out of the packaging the bottle is impressive. It’s solid, heavy glass with a nice see-through, multicolored look. The plastic cap and spray tip are standard, but the overall presentation is really nice. The scent is exactly what you’d expect from something called Coastal. It’s not the salty Key West air you’d get sitting down there listening to Buffett, but it definitely has that coastal vibe behind it. It can be overpowering if you’re not careful. For me, the best way is to spray it once or twice in the air and walk through it rather than spraying it directly on my skin. That gives just enough coverage so you can tell it’s there without it being too strong or bothering people in an elevator. You get 1.7 ounces (50 ml), which should last a good while. One heads-up: it’s all glass. Even though it’s heavy and solid, if you drop it the bottle will break and you’ll have the fragrance everywhere, so handle it carefully. I used it again this morning and my wife said it smelled really good, light and airy, not musky at all. I’m happy with it and plan to keep using it. For me this is a solid five-star product.

We’ve reviewed a ton of pureu products but never a full bottled fragrance from them so I was excited to check this out. The presentation is great, the colors pop and work well together, the bottle has a nice gradient and the atomizer is great for this price range. The scent is VERY citrus forward and pretty linear staying with that citrus through most of the life of the scent. Unfortunately that citrus forward scent has been done to death, has an air of “cheap” to it and the fragrance doesn’t perform as I would have expected a high concentration fragrance to perform. Don’t get me wrong it’s not a bad scent per se it’s just very “common and simple”, on its own merits this is a good product, there are uses for this for sure, as a small gift, a child’s introduction into fragrances like the parents have, a room spray, there’s certainly uses for it. For the price, quality, scent and presentation I’ll give this product four stars. Not my favorite scent but maybe it’s yours!

I have quite a few fragrances. This one stands out and is becoming a fave.Although this is considered a cologne it is very versatile and can definitely be worn by a man or woman. I plan on giving it to my man, but spayed it on myself first to see how I liked it. I like that it is not a heavy fragrance and sprays on nice and light. It’s a citrusy floral scent which is nice and light.the floral scent reminds me of a neroli oil I have. It’s a fragrance that can be worn daily. I did say that I bought it for my man but I will definitely be using it from time to time lol. It comes in a beautiful pink and blue bottle presented in a nice box that unfolds outward. Overall this is a great unisex fragrance with a beautiful presentation. It’s a good price for the size and would make a great gift for yourself or someone else
