Offering innovative new technology combined with superior design, build quality, materials and frame construction. Freedom model masks feature a dimpled skirt surface with varied silicone thicknesses and stability ridges in addition to a proprietary low friction double feathered edge skirt surface on the fitting line. The mask has a soft fit, so it's comfy but I always had a small leak & couldn't figure out from where. The fins fit excellent & the soft rubber along with my booties made them comfy to wear; however, the plastic on the actual fin part is very hard and not very fixings flexible, so it was some hard kicking, which is what you don't want for snorkeling. The breathing tube is A-1. The back strap on the mask was also a plus. Probably a great item for someone young &/or in great shape on the legs bc the fins made kick/ swim hard. band cover doesn't fit band

The flippers are comfortable (haven't gone swimming to test yet) and don't hurt the top of your feet- the mask is a nice fit and I like it very much, but I bought this set because it had a cover for the back of the goggles/mask band that stops it from hurting your hair and the cover is 2 inches shorter and at least an inch thinner than the back of the goggle band, so it doesn't fit over it to use. If you shove it in and try to use it anyway, it just makes a puckered part on both sides that pulls the hair even more. I'm super disappointed and may return it if I can find one that actually has a fitting band cover. ... show more

Beautiful, but not the most comfortable

I really wanted to like this set, as the colors are gorgeous. The fins are fairly comfy, but I would definitely have to wear dive socks with them, as they are crazy wide. They are also a bit longer than I was looking for, since I will be traveling with them. I thought the mask would be great with the type of strap it has, since it reminded me of a ski mask strap from the photos. It is nothing like a ski mask strap. Maybe because it's made for being in the water, I'm not sure, but this strap is super stiff and uncomfortable. And the silicon on the mask isn't soft enough to make up for the stiffness of the strap. On the bright side, it came very well packed, with a nice hard case for the googles and bag for the fins. Overall, it's ok. But I returned it. I went with an OMGear mask and it is insanely comfortable. Too bad, I really do love the color of this set. ... show more

Worth it...

Really nice kit. Bought it for my fiancé. So when we go to flordia we have our own stuff. Good quality you can definitely feel it when you are holing it. The neoprene strap is a life saver for any one with any kind of long hair.
