"LOVE IT" this by far is the best golf game on the market. I read the low ratings people are giving it I can say in regards to the swinging or hitting the ball there are 3 options all you need to do is take the 3click button option and your problems of hitting the ball straight is over this option is forgiving for human mistakes. My first game I played 18 holes and shot -7 and since then my best has been -13 and -14 I can't complain but I doubt I would have shot that much below par had I chosen the new swing option over the 3click. My longest drive so far was 361 yrds I use Tiger Woods the graphics are amazing you feel like you really are standing on a real course but my only complaint is I wish there were more professional golfers to choose from maybe at some point a patch will be sent to increase the number of pros. As for the main option screen like any new game it takes some time to get use to it this game is no different but again over some time playing this issue will go away. In closing yes not every one is the same by the way they play I have been playing videos games since 1980 I have had every system that ever came out except just one and I only play sports games and I feel I have a pretty good feel for every game as to it being a flop or a keeper and if you are some one that has played or love golf if you give it some time you will find it hard to put this game down. ... show more

    • Great Gameplay but Limited Equipment Options

PGA TOUR 2K25 on Xbox Series X plays really well — the graphics are sharp, the swing mechanics feel smooth, and the overall experience is fun and challenging, especially for golf fans. However, I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because there are very limited options when it comes to customizing your equipment. You only get about three brands to choose from for clubs and balls, which makes it feel a bit restricted compared to other sports games that offer more variety. If you're looking for a solid golf sim with great gameplay, it's definitely worth picking up, but I hope future updates or versions expand on the club and ball selections to give players more personalization. ... show more

The Xbox version of this game is excellent! It plays beautifully and the improvements over the 23 version of this game are numerous and obvious! The graphics are stunningly beautiful and the gameplay is superb. BUT BE WARNED -- The Steam version of this game is totally unplayable! I've already made it to the PGA tour (easy mode) after two days, and it's a lot of fun to play! Be sure to involve yourself in the extra-game materials like Interviews and Challenges. What a steaming pile! They make you sign-up for an online account and when you do, the verification email never comes. Listen 2K/EA—I bought the game and should be able to play without jumping through hoops. Absolutely the worst experience with a game ever.

Don't waist your money! 2K changed the way you have swing your club. It makes the game very frustrating. They pretty much made it real golf! Stay with 2K23
