I've always loved this pattern from Pfaltzgraff, and in need of a replacement set of cutlery, was happy to find it on a deal. Overall it's a decent set. Shiny (I haven't done the dishwasher test yet), stamped stainless steel, like the sizes, although there's not much difference between them. However, they're not stamped with the brand, and I find that surprising. It's a known, classic brand, and not having the stamp makes me wonder if they're just knock-offs. In support of that suspicion is how light they are. Have you ever picked up a piece of cutlery from the dollar store? That's what I felt like I was doing, except these are shinier and have the pattern I like. Like I said, it's an okay set and I'll keep it since I got a good price and I like the pattern. If you don't care about the weight, then this might be the perfect set for you. If you can get them on a limited/Prime Deal for fifty bucks or less, then they're worth it. ... show more

I love the caddy that this came with! I plan on ordering another set just so I can fill up the first set I ordered and use the other caddy to use to hold my other flatware that I have so I don't have a crappy plastic holder caddy! The flatware holds up great in the dishwasher and to 6 kids that like to band scrape and beat on them as well! like others have said don't use lemon dishwasher soap in the dishwasher and you be fine with the finish! Honestly, i am pretty upset about this at the moment. I just received the set and although it looks nice it is missing pieces. It is not a set for 8 people as said but instead only has enough for 7.
