Fit in the designated dog house well. I made modifications to the dog house for an escape exit for feral cats. Cut the insulated liner to accommodate that. Seems well cushioned. Going to add straw and outside electric heating pad for animals. Just assembled it. Hope the ferals like it!

I purchased this insert for the dog house and it fits perfectly inside with no issues. Just place it inside and put the velcro strips together once it is in place. VERY easy and highly recommend it as the house isn't fully insulated from the cold with some small gaps in the wood. Also purchased a wood sealer and coated the outside. works great!! ... show more

I do like how this fit, and went into the dog house. Beware though, if you have a dog that likes to chew, there is an insert at the bottom for them to lay on, and keep warm. This is as easy for you to remove as it is for the dog. My dog took a few days to want to go in, and a few days more to learn this. Woke up and she had chewed the bottom layer's corners up. Now the house isn't as warm and she doesn't like to sleep in it anymore. What would make this better would be if the bottom stayed down just as much as the padding on the sides do. ... show more

I like the design of the door where it's off to one side. We did put another coat of polyurethane on it so it would endure Midwest weather better.

The wood they use is very thin. I ordered the winter insulated package and glad I did. My dog uses it.

Easy to set up and keeps my dog house warm. This definitely gets soaked easily. My dog actually hates being in her dog house for more than 10 seconds unless it is to get food or a drink of water, so for me this was a worthless purchase. Very nice and great looking quality! It fit perfect into my dog's house. Unfortunately my dog found a way to bite a corner and he got through to the insulation and took it out. I was very disappointed in him because the quality of the product looks great.
