Style: 30"L x 22"W x 29"H Pattern Name: Red(With Ladder)
I’m very happy with my purchase! It came exactly as described & arrived sooner than i expected. My nephew put it together & said the instructions weren’t that good. But he did a great job & I just love it. It’s strong & sturdy. I’ve had many compliments on it & recommend it to anyone.,

  • This house is perfect for me cat!
Style: 30"L x 22"W x 29"H Pattern Name: Red(With Scratchers)
My cat and I really like the house. It is adorable. The patio is the main reason I purchased it. I was looking for a way to provide cover from the rain and allow my cat to enjoy being outside. I did find a few pre-drilled holes missing. However I was able to make it work. It is very sturdy and hope it will endure our wet rainy weather here in Oregon. ... show more

  • Cat shelters
Style: 30"L x 22"W x 29"H Pattern Name: Red(With Scratchers)
Relatively easy to assemble. Took an hour. Some of the screw holes were not aligned and made it so the scratch ramp would not attach. However when all else fails.....duct tape it on. Not it remains to be seen if the stray cat will use it!

  • Hard to get into to clean unless floor is removed
Style: 30"L x 22"W x 29"H Pattern Name: Brown(With Ladder)
It is being used for our two feral cats but is a little small for multi cats. It is very well made and easy to assemble.

  • Definitely a mixed review
Style: 30"L x 22"W x 29"H Pattern Name: Gray(With Ladder)-A
Important Edit a year later: The cathouse survived a long and extremely wet winter. However, the roof is sagging, the little ledge over the door fell off in the spring, and the entire house is so waterlogged it's falling apart and will need to be replaced. No cat ever slept in the sleeping area because the house sank down into the wet ground and the sleeping area was the first place to be water damaged. If I were to purchase again I would: 1. Paint the entire house with 2 coats of outdoor paint before assembling. 2. Caulk all seams, especially on the ridgeline. 3. Place paving stones underneath the house to prevent it sinking. On a positive note, the cats absolutely love having an eating porch where they are sheltered from the rain, and the roof is a popular resting place on rare sunny days. Original review: The Good: 1. I liked that the screws were already sorted and attached to a piece of paper; making assembly as close to idiot-proof as is reasonably possible. 2. Looking out my window I can see that one of the feral cats has already found the feeding station and another is checking out the sleeping compartment. 3. The house is very attractive, in case you need to put it in your front yard. 4. The house is reasonably easy to put together, although you'll need an electric drill or stronger wrists than I have to get some of the screws in all the way. (If you have a variable torque clutch on your drill, set it to 4 or 5.) The Bad: 1. Once the house is assembled, the only way you can change out the bedding is to tip the entire house onto its back and remove the floor. When assembling the house, you will want to put the bedding inside as soon as you finish Step 3. 2. The escape hatch is so small it is unlikely an adult cat could get out. 3. The paint on the house is of truly inferior quality and is in no way weatherproof. If you have the time, you might want to paint the individual pieces with a good outdoor paint and let it dry before assembling the house. I'll have to hope it makes it through the winter and paint it in the spring. 4. Two pieces of the "balcony" were already split. I typically like to ruin my own stuff and not purchase it pre-damaged. One of the "legs" on a balcony piece was 3/4 inch longer than all the others, so we had to trim it. The Indifferent: 1. As with many items of this type, you need to be extremely careful about how tight you put the screws in. They should be snug, but not so tight they split the wood. 2. The house has little legs that are designed to keep it off the ground, but the house is heavy enough that it immediately sinks down into wet ground. Consider putting it on some paving stones. 3. The house was a little bit expensive for the quality I got. Would I purchase it again? I'll let you know in the spring. ... show more

  • I LOVE this adorable well built outdoor cat house
Style: 30"L x 22"W x 29"H Pattern Name: Gray(With Ladder)-A
I LOVE this adorable well built outdoor cat house. We are taking care of two cats that were abandoned. One of them had been in our neighborhood for awhile (other neighbor was helping take care of him and letting him in her house. He couldn't go in my house because I have a cat and she freaks out and it turns into a fight. With my cat being very old I didn't want her to get hurt). 6 months ago another cat showed up who was very skittish (almost to the point of very feral. It took 2 months before he would go anywhere near me; he would stay about 15 feet from the dish and wouldn't go near it until I went inside. I fed both of them because I didn't want to them to starve, and I didn't want them to be put to sleep so I didn't call anyone. Now he absolutely loves me wants to be picked up, petted ,purrs, etc. He is getting better around other people, but still a little weary around others; especially men. They both love my husband now though. They are both buddies and do everything together. For the most part they stay in my yard, and follow me when I go to the neighbors lol. The first cat Gato for the most part now wont go in my neighbors house because he wont leave Boots alone (which is good because the neighbor now has 2 cats so it can become an issue. They love my patio because I have comfortable furniture out there, and had a heavy duty canopy over it, so during the winter they were protected from the rain, small snow we get, and other things. I put blankets out there and shut part of the canopy. Well, at the end Feb here in Washington in Olympia we had unusual snow ( had a decent amount and then it rained/turned to ice early the next morning). Long story short the melting snow combined with the ice broke the canopy (bent the metal top and sides). We rigged it so the part that was broke would stand up to get them through the rest of winter into the spring. I didn't want them to freeze and wanted them to have somewhere comfortable for this up and coming fall/winter. We tore down the canopy but since the summers are nice they are fine on the lawn chairs with their blankets. We wanted to get them used to the house now before fall comes, so about a month ago my husband built the cat house. It was very easy to build and everything fit/went together nicely. It is the cutest thing I have ever seen. I looked at over 60 cat houses and this one was a very good value and had great reviews. I am very glad I bought this. I was a little worried about them sleeping or using the bottom part (since they were more wild cats) but with the escape hatch (can get out, but nothing can get inside it from the outside escape hatch) they seem to be okay with it. They have been using the cat house more and more (I believe they will use it more once I put their bedding in there and it becomes fall time). I will update after the winter to let you know how it held up and how they did. We are going to spray it with the outdoor protection spray to give it extra protection from the elements (can costs about $4 and it will use about 1/2 the can). The stairs on this are adorable and they love perching on the very top of the roof so they can see inside better. I would recommend this house for your outdoor kitty needs. (sorry this is so long). Thanks for making a cute product at a good price (it was $100 compared to similar ones at over $200+). ... show more
