The craftsmanship of Peterson Real Fyre Designer Series Gas Logs captures the realism, texture and subtle nuances found in nature. These hand painted originals, modeled from real world samples, are sure to add a touch of elegance to any home. Experience the subtle beauty and soothing comfort of a Real Fyre Designer Series gas log display. These Peterson Real Fyre Logs can be used with commonly available fire pit ring burners. Allow a minimum of 3-6 inches clearance from the edge of logs to the wall of fire pit. Total number of logs: 6. All logs have a flat, unfinished back or bottom. For use with vented gas log systems. This log set does not include a burner system. A burner system can be selected from the accompanying choices. Note: RH Peterson recommends that for the best burning experience these logs should be used with an RH Peterson Real Fyre burner system.

Title says it all really, these are very heavy, very solid and are the most realistic I have seen. They are shaped and so not contoured with the realistic surface all the way around, this limits you somewhat (intentionally) to the layout and placement, I would have preferred a little more flexibility on this, but understand that is intended to allow best flame effect/visibility. Once heated, they will put out a fair bit of heat, more than I expected which is a nice bonus, logs directly in contact with flame will glow red hot in certain places. I would expect these to last indefinitely, and so based on that give them highest rating despite the high cost. ... show more

Our fireplace has a design defect, so every time we burned wood it would smoke. This is a perfect solution! Most people think they are real oak logs. In my opinion the split oak is the most realistic. The burn kit we bought really puts heat out as well! It smelled funky the first time we used it, but only then. LOVE THIS SO MUCH!!! ... show more
