Look at that face! I would do just about anything for this guy. To make him look that beautiful - breeding has done a number on the little guy. That 'nose rope' or the wrinkle directly above his nose is a characteristic of the breed. And it needs constant attention. It collects dirt and is difficult to keep dry because his nose is naturally wet. So, after the first yeast infection, I quickly learned to clean this area once a week even if not necessarily needed. Although I believe it is always needed for prevention of any build up or infection. I also wipe down the folds below his eyes leading down his check. Another area that needs constant attention. His ears and other areas get the attention needed at bath time. And he loves baths! If I mistakenly say that word in his earshot - he runs to the bathroom and jumps right in. Funny. He tolerates this cleaning procedure very well, probably because he gets a handful of treats as we clean. And lots of kisses and love. I have always been very concerned about the ingredient that gives a wipe moisture. Especially around the eyes. These SUNNY DOGGY wipes are what the description calls "made with safe, organic materials. The Dog grooming wipes are very soft and gentle, hypoallergenic, alcohol free and suitable for daily use". THAT is what I want to see. That checks all the boxes. They are something I can use with confidence even though I am so very careful not to get close to his eyes. The packaging says the wipes are alcohol and chemical free, but the ingredients leave me confused - antiseptic? These wipes are a little dryer than the wipes I currently have been using. That is easily remedied with distilled water. The size of these wipes is a little larger which is great. 8" by 8" is a good size wipe. These wipes are also a bit more expensive than the wipes I use. But certainly affordable. One or two a week out of an 80-pack will last a long time. One star is deducted for the price and ingredients. Even though the webpage states can be used "around the eyes" - I am always very careful with ANY wipe in this area.

Scent: It's not horrible but it's also not great. To me it's not a fresh smell, it's just a smell. Dampness: Not enough, I may have just gotten a bum package of them but I didn't feel that these would get dirt off well. I just used them to freshen my dog's smell since he'd been rolling but I had to use 3 to feel like they did anything. Feel: They are kind of soft but more like toilet paper mixed with wipes soft. Normal wipes in my opinion are fine, it's like they tried to step up the softness but that might be why I feel they don't clean as well.

This review is for Pet Wipes 480 Count, Dog Wipes Cleaning Deodorizing Cat Wipes, 8 x 8 Inch Dog Grooming Wipes for Butt Paws Ear Eyes and Body, Pack of 6. I like these wipes because of their large 8x8 size. They are very convenient to use and do not slip out of my hands when wiping down my dog, unlike smaller size wipes. Every inch makes a difference! They are also very thick and strong and do not rip easily. Although, I thought they dried out my hands too much after using a couple of them. The sheets themselves are also on the drier side versus some of the ones I’ve used in the past. Most of the listed ingredients have antiseptic uses but some can cause skin irritations so I would use them sparingly on my dog since he has sensitive skin. The wipes I buy locally have organic ingredients and are usually very simple, like organic oats, aloe vera, vitamin E, deodorizing fragrance and no parabens or sulfates. These do not claim to have any organic ingredients so I was aware of that but I figured I can use them to wipe other things as well. Because they are so tough, I can rinse them and use them to wipe down my dog’s boots, etc. Anyway, I didn’t know these were made in China. The product page cartoons were in Japanese and I mistakenly assumed this was made in Japan. Duh! Overall, these are pretty nice large fragrance free wipes and they serve their purpose well. I find them a bit on the dry side for me but they are thick and strong. I would give these a 4.2/5.0 - 03/17/2024.

I love using these wipes for a quick wipe down of my dogs' ears, paw pads, and face. They are larger and more substantial than most other brands I've tested. Since I rinse and reuse each sheet a couple of times, these wipes should last for a while. I'm glad there aren't harsh chemicals or strong scents, but I don't consider these to be the best for deodorizing functions. For that, I prefer to use a washcloth and some mild dog shampoo with a bit of scent. It would be nice if the full ingredients list was available in the product description, since some of the animals I board have allergies.
