I was halfway expecting this to be flimsy and leave an odor like some turf you would get from the hardware store. Was surprised to see how durable the matting is on this. It’s well put together and best of all…fragrant free! It feels like real grass, looks like real grass, and my dog loves it. It drains well too. I compared it to turf from Lowes and it’s amazing how much nicer this is! Definitely buying again for future projects. Worth the price! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. It feels nice. It’s not bad. Quality is alright too. But if you wanna go with your budget and expect a very high good quality go buy somewhere else. But this one is really nice. I love it. It’s worth my money too. The felt of the fake grass and everything.

Purchased this because our back yard area is entirely gravel and we wanted something the dogs could use as a lawn substitute when we're all back there. With the exception of having an extra shine to it during the sunniest part of the day, or looks remarkably realistic. One warning - When I first opened the rolled up mat it smelled - TERRIBLE - but after letting it air out for an entire day it was fine. That gave the edges time to relax flat too. A quick rake to ”fluff” it (it's rolled Very Tight for shipping) and the ”grass” was ready to go. All three dogs like having it back there, and treat it just like grass. Easy to clean, has great drainage after being hosed down. I would purchase it again, maybe even a larger size next time. I shouldn't have to for a while though, because even after 2 months regular use it still looks good as new. So low maintenance. ... show more

I bought this to cover a concrete terrace. It arrived in a roll and I installed it myself and was able to cut very precisely to fit. It looks fantastic and so far is wearing very well. I took away one star because it gets very hot in the direct sun. It doesn’t bother me to walk on it in socks (too hot for my bare feet) but my chihuahua finds it too hot for her to stand on. I’ve thrown a blanket down for her and that works but I’m not outside very long in the direct sun. I tend to use the space in the morning and evening and the fake grass is so nice then!! Due to the ongoing drought in California, and having two female dogs that left urine burns on our sod lawn, we decided to replace our sod lawn with alternative turf. Ordered in late November 2022 and when it came, the rains had finally returned with a vengeance. It took months before the area was dry enough to get rid of the now-watered green old sod lawn tuffs, level the area, and put down a base of decomposed granite. When we finally were ready to actually lay this product in June 2023, we discovered the two other pieces we ordered in a separate order didn't match this piece, and the order window had closed the end of January 2023. I contacted PetGrow directly to see what could be done. Joshua Click, PetGrow Sales Manager, went above and beyond to help. Sent him a sample of the piece we were trying to match and he went out into their stock and found some pieces that matched the piece we already had laid. My two pugs are in love with their new lawn! It was pretty easy to install for two men, using self adhesive sealing tape and turf nails. I HIGHLY recommend! ... show more

Wow! We have a very small yard that was promptly destroyed by our 2 pitbulls. We didn’t want to waste money on sod since we figured it would just be dead/ruined again in 6 months. I thought artificial grass was way more than it was so we dropped almost $400 on envirotiles from Home Depot that only covered 1/3 of our yard. Soon after we placed those our yard was destroyed where grass remained. We happened upon these on a lightning deal and thought we would give it a shot. Well, we covered the remaining 2/3rds of our yard for way less and it looks AMAZING. It looks great through rain, snow and cleans up great! My dogs do their business on it and once it’s sprayed with a hose you’d never know. My only note is that if you have dogs that are constantly peeing on it your yard starts to smell pretty bad, which is expected. I just spray it down with a high powered hose and all is back to normal. This stuff is very easy to cut with a box cutter. We tried scissors and banged up our hands pretty good. We secured it to the dirt with land scape staples from Lowe’s. It took about 150 of them but we put them everywhere in an attempt my keep the dogs from digging it, which brings me to my next point... My girls love to dig. That’s what destroyed our grass in the first place. They can’t dig this so they don’t even bother. My yard looks decent again! Not to mention the lower water bills and no mowing/weeding! Side note - we were able to fill in that last corner with what we got with 2 rolls, I just don’t have a picture of it completed. ... show more

I bought this because of the great reviews. I'm a little disappointed. Overall, looks great. However, it was shipped in a box and one of the creases just won't go away. I've brushed it daily since installing and it continues to be there. No idea what to do about it.
