  • Gave us back our lives!
Color: NEW Fog
I NEVER write Amazon reviews, but had to for this stroller! TLDR: This is a (relatively) lightweight, compact stroller made from durable materials. It does well on all terrains, and is a comfortable and roomy ride for a pup who needs a lift. We love it! I did a fair bit of research before investing in this specific model, and I've been so pleased with my decision. We live in an urban area, so the stroller needed to be compact enough to store, and able to handle a variety of terrains (sidewalk, uneven gravel paths, grass, etc.). The puppy is about 40 pounds (and growing!), and he fits very comfortably laying down or sitting. The whole enchilada: I have an 8 month old Boxer Mix foster dog. He has a growth plate condition, and his front 2 legs are deformed. His gait is very uneven as a result, and beyond being slow and unsteady on his feet, he is nervous outside. Trying to walk him was an incredibly painful experience for us both, as going half a block took anywhere from 40 minutes to an hour. Walking/running is my outlet for stress, and I typically take on very high energy foster dogs, as they fit into my active lifestyle perfectly. 6 weeks into being essentially homebound with a certified 'indoorsy' pup, I was going insane. We were spending hundreds of dollars a week on a car service to drive us to an from my office (I bring him to work with me), and I felt like I hadn't seen the sun in months. Meanwhile, the pup was inside all day, I was running out of ways to entertain him (you can only do so many snuffle mats), and he had started fighting boredom in more...destructive ways. We needed a solution and fast. There had to be a way for us to both get fresh air, and me to some movement in, without it turning into a 3 hour saga, or him having to stay in his crate while I went out. We had previously tried a dog backpack, and while the puppy tolerated it, he was definitely nervous. Plus, it was just too heavy for me to be a practical mode of transport. At 40 lbs, he was too big, too long, too-you get it. The backpack didn't work. Enter the stroller. Puppy is very comfortable riding in the car and being picked up and carried, so I was hopeful that the stroller would work for him. If your dog dislikes either of these things, they might need more acclimation time. In our case, it took him less than 5 minutes after I assembled it to hop in, and lay down. He turned to look at me after doing so like, 'aren't you going to push me?' So I did, and we've been cruising ever since! I use the stroller for daily walks (he pottys outside, then hops into the stroller for a...stroll), transportation for him to and from my office, and as a place for him to sit in dog-friendly patios. When he hears me unfold the stroller, he comes running (sort of), and jumps in without hesitation. I think he loves getting to sniff the outdoor scents without having the discomfort of walking, and anxiety of the open outdoors. I store the stroller with the wheels off, as it folds up more flat with this option. It has a fairly large footprint, but that can't really be helped, considering the size of the dog it needs to fit. If it could fold up smaller or into a more convenient shape for carrying with the wheels still attached that would be amazing, but I'm not sure how this would be possible. As is, I can assemble and dissemble the stroller in less than a minute, so it's really not a big deal. ... show more

  • PERFECT!
Color: NEW Fog
I have two 10-pound havanese puppies (both under a year old) and we travel a lot. They don't have any mobility issues but they are little pranksters - so I find a stroller invaluable when checking into hotels and walking around shopping centers or art festivals. This stroller is perfect! I tried the 3-wheel PetGear double stroller and it was impossible to maneuver and super heavy. This stroller is much lighter to lift, folds much flatter, is much easier to set up and fold, and it gives the puppies more room to move around. I could easily fit 4 or possibly 5 puppies in this. They (and I) love the "sun roof". However, I've only had it for a few weeks and we've only used it twice, but I feel like it's not super sturdy and won't last long. Not sure, just a feeling. For example, the zipper around the sun roof is already tearing away from the fabric. I only zipped it once and it's already tearing. I think it might be from the fabric stretching when the stroller is being unfolded. So we'll see. If it lasts a year of our adventures then it will have been well worth the $250 and I would happily buy it again. ... show more

  • Perfect for my elderly Lab mix. Let's her be included.
Color: Fog
What a well made unit. Bought it for my severely arthritic lab mix. She has serious joint issues so was no longer able to join the younger dogs on our daily walks. Leaving her behind made her very sad. We were traveling all year in our RV. Getting this carriage was a life changer. She was all smiles and happily loaded up so we could go on walks as a pack. The other dogs quickly learned to walk next to it on either side. The cup holders are great. Also appreciated the closing compartment on the tray that fit my phone inside to keep it and my keys safe and dry. The adjustable angle and height of the handle was terrific. Moves well and easily. I did add an additional padded dog bed inside to make my girl more comfy on longer walks. The padding that comes with it is OK. But not super cozy. That is the only thing I would upgrade. But better by far than other units I looked at. Truly appreciate being able to load and unload from either the front or the back. Folds up easily to take in and out of my truck too. Also use it to take her to the groomer or the Vet to get nail trims or to appointments since walking the distance into and out of the shop or clinic is too taxing on her now. Allows her to lie comfortably while they work on her and they have easy access from the front or the back with the top accordianed up. Enthusiastically endorse this product. We call it the Royal Carriage. Couldn't be more perfect. I only wish they would make a rain fly for the top. I love the zipperEd screen top section to allow access to pat her and so she can peek her head out sometimes. But on rainy days here in the Pacific Northwest I have to rig up a temp rain fly with a heavy duty trash bag that I bungee into place. Otherwise water gets in and makes her uncomfortable. A rain fly that could snap on and off to cover it would be terrific. ... show more

  • Great stroller!
Color: Fog
This is a VERY nice stroller. It is sturdy and well made for the money. I love the 2 doors, the storage for dog bags and treats, and the black screens that go all the way around it for air. The foot brake in the back is easy to use and allows the stroller to stay put. It is so very easy to maneuver and also to close up and place into the van; it is heavy though. The stroller inside has 2 long straps to lock onto your dog's collar. I've washed the black mat he sits on a couple of times now, no problem, and I see how easy it would be to recover or remake the mat myself. My dog was skittish of this big stroller at first, but he is already all in, doors shut, after a few days of working with treats. He's trusting the sturdiness too. Be aware though that the Fog color is actually a light gray/lavender color. UPDATE: I'm able to rollerblade with him very well although I can tell he wants to run with me instead. He's only 2 yrs. old after all. When he moves around while I'm rollerblading, I can feel it, so I'm very careful. ... show more
