So, I'm menopausal, have night sweats and hot flashes throughout the day. Awesome during a hot humid summer, right? Not at all. I was so freakin' hot a couple of weeks ago, I started searching Amazon for cooling sheets. I found a half a dozen sets, read their reviews and it came down to Peru Pima temperature and another brand. Peru Pima was double the price of the other set but the reviews for Peru Pima told me that they felt like hotel sheets, which are cool and crisp, as opposed to a much softer sateen sheet. I wanted my bed to feel like a hotel bed, so I bit the bullet and bought the Peru Pima temperature sheets and an extra set of pillow cases. I washed them and put them on my bed the moment they were delivered. That night, I slept better than I had slept in years. The sheets were cool when I climbed into bed and remained cool throughout the night, not that I noticed because I was out like a light. My husband, who hasn't slept in the same bed with me since I started having night sweats, crawled into bed with me on day 2 of the sheets and now he wants a set for the guest room, where he's been sleeping. I just ordered a second set for my youngest son, who is a hot sleeper, and I cannot wait for him to try them out. I've had these sheets for about a week and I won't use any other sheets in the summertime. One thing to keep in mind though, these are not super soft sheets. They are crisp. If you want super soft sheets, these are not for you. If you want a crisp, cool percale, buy these, right now!

I usually don't write reviews but I am making an exemption for Peru Prima - the product is phenomenal. I've had these bedsheets for well over 2 months now and they are extremely comfortable. Below is my review in different categories: QUALITY: The thread count, durability of seams and the quality of pima cotton used is exceptional. You can immediately feel that the cotton used to produce these bedsheets are cultivated from cotton plants that were properly taken care of. The seams are straight, though it is hemmed on single ply and not double. Fortunately this has not affected the durability of the product. The cotton itself is strong enough to handle my dog constantly scratching at it so I know the quality is top notch. SHIPPING: This package came remarkably fast, I think it took no less than 4 days. It's shipped all the way from Peru which I expected at least a week plus but that was not the case for me. COMFORT: As stated before, the sheets themselves are amazing. The sateen finish is one of the best in my opinion. It gives you the nice refreshing feeling in hot weather and warmth in cold weather. I couldn't feel much of the proclaimed "Self-regulating temperature" that this bed sheet offers over the other bed sheets by Peru Pima, but I decided on this one because they were identically priced. Notes and conclusion: Overall I would highly recommend anyone who is looking for high quality bed sheets. The price is steep compared to other offerings such as Amazon's Pinzons, but it's steep for a reason - you're not paying for just the materials, but the niche exclusivity that this product is offering. I received a note from the seller in a box saying thanks for purchasing this product. Everyone who purchases it will probably receive something similar because you're supporting a small company (which is helping employ people in Peru) who thrives on your business. Very satisfied with this and will order in the future.

I now own 3 sets of these sheets. I replaced all my other sets. These are fabulous sheets. High quality cotton of a substantial weight. The kind of cotton I remember from 60 yrs ago and reminiscent of Europe. They will wrinkle but not horribly unless you use too high heat. Once on the bed or folded neatly they’re fine. Updated - learned a great laundry hack! Fold both top and fitted sheet separately as if you were putting them away. Place in washing machine FOLDED. They unfold but they will not tangle up! After drying, fold immediately = greatly minimized wrinkling! No hot dryer!!! Much nicer than any 500++ thread count sets. I love they come with a note and packaged beautifully in a special case with ribbons!!!! These sheets will last a long time.

Very good sheets that are well made. Service was excellent. The only reason this isn't a 5 is that they are a bit rougher than I anticipated 600 count would be. I don't know if they are temperature regulating -- our temperatures haven't changed much since we've had them. I will say they have been fine as a single covering during both hot, humid nights and on the few nights when I was able to open the windows because it was a bit cooler. Writing that, I realize they may well be if they are comfortable in both humid heat and in nighttime sixty something degree air.

I’m Peruvian and I’ve personally worn clothes made out of 100% proven Pima cotton and the sheets are not as soft as I expected. It might have something to do with the sateen? Not sure. Regardless though I’m quite pleased with the sheets I think they do a decent job at regulating my temperature throughout the night.

If you like thin sheets these are ok. I did not find them acceptable. However I like thick soft sheets that will hold up many washings and just get softer. These are not that at all. More 2 star hotel than 5 star hotel.

I love these sheets. I don't usually spend this much on sheets, but I got tired of all my other sheets not lasting and i didn't love the feel of them. These sheets are exceptional. My first set I bought 3 years ago and they are still in great condition. I recently bought a second set. They are heavy in weight and feel soft and smooth to the touch. They are warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
