I sleep really hot, so I have been on the search for percale sheets with a high thread count. I thought I had found them with Lands End's highly rated sheets, but they have been treated to be somewhat silky, and the top sheet keeps sliding off the bed. So, a definite Y5-star rating for Peru Pima Percale sheets!!! Perfect percale! Cool and soft without that silky feel, and the 415 TC adds a bit of weight. Yes, they come out of the dry slightly wrinkled with that pervasive slight fold over on the top, so I might indulge in having them ironed. When I went to order another set (or two), I was very disappointed to notice that the sheets are now marked unavailable. Not sure why - perhaps due to COVID-19 related shipping issues, out of business, out of stock. I have tried contacting the company but have received no response. Just washed these sheets and put on my bed. First impression is they are nice and crisp and smooth. They are not too heavy (like LLBean’s Pima percale sheets) nor too light ( like Land’s End percale sheets They were not terribly wrinkled after washing. However, the pockets on the fitted sheet are quite deep. This worked well on my bed but if you have a thinner mattress, you would not be able to pull them taut. I’m so hoping these will work as I’ve tried so many different sheets without being happy. 🤞 ***Update*** Have now washed these sheets several times and slept on them. These sheets are made really well.. I am quite impressed with the quality of the stitching.. The sheets are soft, also . The only real issue I have with them is that the fitted sheet is sewn with polyester thread at the corners.. Noticed it when I took them out of the package.. First sheets I have ever known to be sewn with polyester thread.. The rest of the sheet set is sewn with cotton thread.. I don't really understand why they didn't just use cotton thread, all together.. Maybe, it isn't a big deal to some people.. But, I hate polyester thread! It frizzes out awful! I wish I had known it before purchasing! Will be returning them! It is a shame because they would be the best sheets I have ever had up next to hotel quality sheets.. ... show more

These sheets are the old fashioned kind- pre perma press. They were a bear to iron and if it were not for the fact that I washed them, I would return them. The quality and feel are fine but it is too much work to iron them.

Love the quality of construction. Love the softness as well as the typical and desirable “crispness” of percale. Softer as it is washed over and over. These sheets shrink very little even in hot water wash. Pure cotton percale will wrinkle if left in the washer or dryer too long after completion. Pull it out of the washer promptly, shake out any twists or bunching, put in dryer for about an hour on low heat and remove promptly from dryer when finished. Doing this will result in far less wrinkling, and give a lovely smooth look to the bedclothes. I grew up sleeping on muslin sheets. Line dried in the sunshine. This product is as close as I’ve ever seen. This set is my second order in 6 months. Love it!!! ❤️ ... show more

Purchased for my sons bed. Sheets were shipped quickly. Packaging is very lux. Purchased flat sheet set and two pillowcase sets. Color is white-but more on the red/blue white spectrum (very white). They actually looked red/blue hue when compared to other warmer whites in the house. Once on the bed they are just super, super white. They are crinkly --but that is to be expected with percale sheeting. Very crisp. I can mention that they must use the shorter cotton threads as I notice it prickly on my face with the pillow. Are they better than the PB kids sheets? Sure. Would I buy them for my bed? Probably not. But my big splurge in life are sheets. I prefer a percale with more heft that are butter soft. Good for a kid-not sure I would buy for myself. Update: eight months later. The sheets are pilled and uncomfortable. Trashing them. Worst sheets ever. Do not recommend. ... show more
