    • Best color analysis book
I remember the “Color Me Beautiful” book when I was younger and some of it just did not completely fit with me and other people. Recently, I became interested in color analysis again had been looking at videos , books, etc. I ended up pre-ordering this book and I’m so glad I did! I went through the information in an afternoon and got so much clarity! This is by far the best color analysis information that I have found. And remember the goal is to find a person’s BEST colors, which is not to say an exhaustive list of harmonious colors, as colors from other seasons can also be harmonious for various reasons. If you are interested in this topic for yourself or for others and/or you need a bit more clarity, I highly recommend getting this book!! Explained really well. I’ve read many books on color analysis but this one stands out. It’s simple and straightforward and I feel like I finally get it. Now when I look at color now or even a person of whom I’m trying to determine their palette I know what I’m looking for.

This book is FILLED with information and so incredibly helpful. Whether you're just trying to identify your season palette, you're an aspiring color analyst, or you are fascinated by color theory, this book is for you. I confirmed that I'm a True Summer and have been diving back into the book and following Anuschka's process for my family members. So fun and interesting!     • Technical color theory
In my opinion, this book is extremely detailed and technical. I read the entire book and my head was spinning by the time I finished it. The short of is I think I'm somewhere in the ranges for Autumn and Winter. I rated the book a 3 because I felt it was just too much color theory information. Don't get me wrong I think it's important to the overall concept but this book just didn't meet my expectations. I have a couple of other books by this author that I dearly love but this one missed the mark for me. The two books by this author that I love are the The Curated Closet and the companion book, The Curated Closet Workbook. I found both of these extremely helpful and both books have helped me so much reduce my wardrobe items. In fact, I am getting ready to do another wardrobe reduction and decluttering and have both these books at hand. ... show more
