Working with this glue to get in onto the windshield and into the groove of the trim was a bit of a pain, and I actually had to attempt the repair twice - but the second time I did a better job and it's been holding the trim on even through multiple rains without any signs of coming loose. As usual experience is the thing you obtain immediately AFTER you needed it... I couldn't say any other brands of adhesive wouldn't be just as difficult as this one so I would not hold that against it. I would buy this again if needed. ... show more

It was great. Very durable. The first time I messed up and did not let the area dry properly so when I went through the car wash the weather Stripping came off again. The next time it dried although it would have worked better in warmer climate to dry, it held up in the automatic car wash.     • Doesn't hold up in hot climates

I used this for the vertical rubber weather strip between my car's front and back windows. It did fine in the spring, but couldn't handle the Florida heat in summer. I've had to re-glue it three times in 8 months. I'll just try Gorilla Glue and see how that works.
