It’s kinda cheaply made, thin plastic but it fits well without any modifications. There’s not any clips in the center like the factory piece. It doesn’t stay snapped in on the middle of it.

INSTALLED ON A 1999 TJ. IF YOU ARE NOT MECHANICALY INCLINED YOU WILL NEED HELP MAKING THIS FIT RIGHT ON YOUR JEEP. MANY HOURS SPENT GRINDING AND SPACEING TO GET A DECENT FIT. MAYBE I AM A BIT PARTICULAR BUT THIS PIECE NEEDED SOME TLC.

It works, just take my advice and order a Head unit that fits exactly. It was very hard to find one. Boss had one that fit, I took a gamble. So far it works as described.

    • Not as easy to install as I hoped
If you buy this make you have a dremmel handy. You may have to cut a couple of pieces in the back or in your internal panel to fit the new screen. Material quality is good but not as good as the original. The final look and fit looks aceptable though. This was functional for me as I needed something to install a carplay radio, for the price I think it was a good purchase, but I’ll let you all know if it doesn’t last long enough ... show more
