I found this stool to be excellent, at a much lower price than comparable stools. It is sturdy and stable. The seat is comfortable and well padded. This does what I need it to do, and I am okay with sitting on the edge of the seat. But there is a distinct lump in the middle of the seat, possibly because of how it is connected to the base. This makes it less comfortable than very similar stool that I had to replace. Quite easy to assemble. Sturdily constructed. The highest setting is nearly a tiptoe touch for me at 6’2”, so likely would accommodate someone 3 or 4 inches taller or more.
