Pretty solid coffee stirrers. They are the perfect height where they're not sticking out of your coffee cup by a foot but there's always a dry spot for you to grab at the top of the stirrer. The cup in the pics is a wider than average coffee cup. The don't splinter when in your mouth. I'm giving them 4 stars because they lack some structural integrity. I'd like them to be more rigid. These sticks are an excellent alternative to needing to use a spoon when stirring anything on a daily basis. The seemingly minor change of not having to use a spoon each and every day to stir your beverages has more of an impact on your silverware usage than you might expect! It's so inexpensive to buy so many, it's just an excellent purchase. If you also have any crafts that need this type of wooden stick, you'll have them readily available. Ordered these for our department coffee station. This is a great price and a great alternative to the gross chemical laden plastic stirrers. The 5" length is just right for a standard sized coffee mug, but I would upgrade to the 7" size if you're using anything taller than that. Most of the stirrers are intact and we have found very few if any with splinters or breaks. The rounded edge makes stirring the bottom of the cup easy. They look nice sitting on our countertop at the coffee station. A great buy! Will purchase again when we need more! ... show more

I purchased these for home use so I wouldn't dirty so many spoons. These are great. They don't make your drink taste like wood (like other stirrers), they are sturdy and never splinter. The only downside to these is that they are rather short, so using them for a travel cup isn't really practical, but perfect for a regular mug. I made the mistake of ordering the wrong kind after these and was extremely disappointed. These are the only way to go! ... show more

This is the 4th time I have ordered these in the last 4-5 years and the quality has gone way down. I simply hit reorder and I recieved a significantly inferior product, thinner and narrower. See the photo. The older ones are on the left and the new ones are on the right. Significantly more brittle.

Happy to have found some NSF certified wooden coffee stirrer sticks. Had been using random craft sticks, but decided to look for some that had been deemed food safe. These 7.5" long ones are a little tall for my 10.5oz Bodum double wall mug, but they do the trick of not banging the glass. They are thinner at .25", than a craft stick. Will probably buy the 5" ones from Perfect Stix next for these shorter mugs. ... show more
