I have been buying this cat food for years and it just keeps going downhill in quality. Once in a while I get a quality can. Right now, my cats are getting really disgusting dry mushy cans. In the past many cans have been really hard. These two types of cans are a total waste of money because my cats won't eat them and now they are the norm, not the exception. My fur babies love this classic Fancy Feast line....Thanks Amazon for the great deal on so many flavors..I tell my friends this "Market Place" is the way to go...no more loading my cart, waiting on long lines at the store, packing up and unloading the car....not to mention the price of gas....Fancy Feast is a great value for a grain free product lineup.... Cat food has been in shortage with the pandemic. My cat likes this particular flavor and it's a bargain, pandemic or not. Like a Vet once told me, the cats tend to like the cheap stuff and he was right. Forget the Duck, pate faux gras, and all the other eclectic garbage on the market that gnaws at your wallet. ... show more

    • Rotten and foul smelling!
My cat usually loves the fancy feast classic pate. This case seemed ok at first but as I got a few cans in I noticed my cat wouldn’t eat it. Then I opened a couple cans and they smelled HORRIBLE! Not like normal wet cat food bad but rancid. It stunk up the entire house. I don’t know if it wasn’t stored right in the warehouse or what bc the sell by date was June 2023 so it shouldn’t have been bad. I reported it to purina and requested a refund. ... show more

    • Inconsistent quality?
Don't know what's going on with the salmon pate but my cat usually loves it. I buy it every other month. The last time I bought it, April, 2021 she wouldn't get near it. This time, June, 2021, she gobbled it up but she won't go near the cans I got in April. Something is wrong here.

I used to buy these at the grocery store and I noticed with this pack, there was more gravy/seemed less dry than the exact stuff I bought at the grocery store, so that was a nice surprise. I'm 3/4 way through the pack and they've all been like that. My 15+ year old kitty has figured out I buy them in bulk now, and I'm yelled at incessantly until he gets his morning can, 'cause he knows we got the goods. ... show more

My vet recommended a wet canned pate for my overweight cat. She got fat and lethargic on dry morsels. Emma now gets two cans of this ONLY daily. She has lost 3 1/2 unneeded pounds. Her fur is shiny and soft. She is also much more energetic at 8 years old. I even convinced my daughter to feed it to her cat Neko. Now, before you say "my cat won't eat canned food" give it a try.
