    • Not a full 60' but otherwise a good product easily bent. Can be noisy
This is not as thick as preformed store flashing or even a disposable aluminum food tray like Costco uses. I think .0078" is about 35 gauge and is easily bent by hand and accidental bending is quite common. When unrolled it retains a curl at the edges, which is actually quite useful because I wanted to use it as a flashing on top of a beam anyways so water will roll right off. I was able to paint it by scuffing with scotch brite, cleaning with alcohol, painting with latex Zinsser All Prime / 1-2-3, then spraying with Rustoleum spray. But I was quite annoyed after rolling out 4 12' lengths on top of 12' beams that the 5th was about 2' short. I don't think I've ever bought a product that didn't give you at least a few extra inches. One caution is that if you do bend it by hand, it will crinkle like wrapping paper any time it is pressed. ... show more
