  • For Regular Table Tennis Player
Excellent price and fast delivery, highly recommended

  • Very good value, decent paddle.
This review is for a Penn 4.0 paddle. I believe they sent me the 4.0 instead of the 3.0 paddle. Before I got this Penn paddle, I was using a set that I purchased with. 4 paddles, and a few ping pong balls. Those were okay to pay around with the kids. We’re not pros, but at times, it does get pretty competitive and we can play for hours at times. The Penn paddle is not bad for the price. The grip is not as comfortable as the Penn 5.0 grip, maybe better for smaller hands. The rubber is very “sticky”, for lack of better word for it. It allows me to put more spin on the ball then the other paddles I have. The sponge and rubber can be thicker, as the bounce isn’t that great, but it’s not too bad. Good ping pong paddle for someone looking for an inexpensive paddle. ... show more

  • Right price/quality ratio
Fantastic paddle for this price point: feels very good, very comfortable, and enough padding for hobby play.

  • Provides decent grip and faster maneuvers
This table pennis paddle works pretty well. The handle provides a decent grip and feels comfortable even after a long time of holding it. The paddle is made with competition grade rubber, so you can generate good speed spins pretty easily. I also like the fact that the entire paddle feels lightweight and that helps with faster maneuvers. ... show more

  • Good value and quality
This paddle quality is surprisingly really good for the price. It's half of the price for my supposedly better paddles but it is on par for performance. Not sure is that because it's brand new, i feel that it even have a better grip to the ping pong ball and give me better control. It's lighter than my other paddles which is a good thing. I know you want solid materials but why make the paddle so heavy? And the paddle is thick with multi layer of cushion. There is no paddle cover with it which i think not really needed. Even for the price double of that not really rationalize a cover for day to day use. It just you want to looks like a "pro" when you need a cover to your paddle. It's nice to have one but I won't miss it at all. Overall, 5 stars all around. just the wood edge a little bit rough, not too rough and I don't even need to sand it down using sand paper. it can be smoother but not to a point make you uncomfortable i would say. Good deal. I love that. ... show more

  • No, Get a 5.0
This is nearly the worst paddle I have ever used. The rubber is slick and shiny like plastic, the spin rating should be a 1. The paddle is thin and flimsy. Just pay the extra money and get the 5.0, which is actually pretty good as far as budget paddles go.

  • Easy to Handle
This paddle is easy on the hand and wrist. I had carpel tunnel surgery about a year ago and found this paddle easy to use without straining my wrist. It's light enough for controllability but sturdy enough to hit the ping-pong ball. Not too much more to say about a ping-pong paddle other than it's a nice paddle. ... show more

  • Good for occasional players
The grip is nice and comfortable. It seems a little thin from the ones I've used in the past. It's good for occasional use when playing with friends and non-competitive family members. Has a nice bounce but doesn't seem to have much for spin control. Overall average but a good price for the occasional player. ... show more
