    • This is exactly what I needed for upcoming jury duty
I am getting on in years, and my balance is poor, and I was dreading having to possibly go to the local courthouse and make the lengthy way from the parking lot, courtyard, building, security, etc. This should help a lot if I do have to go in (day one in my county is different these days, I register online and on my *day*, just go about my business and wait for an email or phone call to see if I need to go in - no sitting around in a big room all day!). Back on topic, this was super easy to put together, and a huge thanks to the manufacturer for that ever-so-helpful video showing how it's done. Also, and huge thanks to the other videos reviewers put up showing how that extra handle works, as I also struggle getting out of low chairs without much snapping of the knees. I chose this quad cane for my elderly mother who is 84 because it’s very substantial and has made walking much less stressful for her. One of the standout features is that it can stand on its own with its four feet, so she is less likely to leave it behind when she sets it down. It provides excellent support, which she really appreciates. Another feature she loves is the second folding handle. It’s incredibly helpful for getting up, sitting down, or getting in and out of vehicles. It adds extra stability and makes those movements a lot easier. Overall, the cane is sturdy, stable, and reliable. It also has a great adjustment range to suit your needs. While the base has a large footprint, making it very stable, it does take a little time to get used to, so you don’t accidentally kick it or hit your ankle. The offset base is helpful in preventing this. The extra handle for pulling yourself up is a nice bonus and adds to the cane’s overall functionality. Highly recommend! ... show more

I find that it is very stable when not walking but seems to wobble when walking. I tried height adjustment but never made a difference.

First off this cane is well constructed, in use it provides good stability and it's fairly lightweight but what really stands out is the additional handle grip. At first I felt like the additional handle was gimmicky until I used it! having the extra grip really does help getting up from a seated position and I like that it automatically folds up when you aren't using it. In my opinion this cane is a much better option if you struggle with rising from a seated position with traditional canes. ... show more

I ordered this walker for a Halloween costume, to go as Carl from Up. For that reason, I detached the rubber feet and attached cut tennis balls, but the rubber feet seemed like nice quality. It feels like a very sturdy cane, that would easily support a person's weight. It also comes with a second handle for helping to stand up, which is a nice touch. This cane is great! It was pretty easy to set up, the quad bottom makes it very sturdy and I love the extra handle. It is a little hard to adjust for elderly hands, but once you get it right, hopefully you're not messing with it much height-wise.
