Peepers are my favorite reader, but this was my first blue light 1.50 and they are my new favorites. Peepers have the best lens. You can go buy cheap readers and compare them to the lens in the Peepers brand and there is a significant difference. Cheap readers = blurry, terrible lens. I am on the computer all day at work, and then I go home an am on my iPad most of the evening. I finally decided to try the blue light and they do help. ... show more

First, because Amazon intends for reviews to review THE PRODUCT, I will say theses glasses (when shipped BRAND NEW) are a solid 4- stars. I love the simplistic style of these readers and the color, but I deducted one star for durability. I am ordering more because they are rigid plastic, and crack easy should they not be stored in a HARD CASE when not worn. Peepers does supply a soft case, but all that serves only as is a dust jacket. Again, these frames can crack, so buy a hard case should you like them. For the seller, which was listed as, "AMAZON" on the product page, they get 2- stars. My glasses arrived loose in a large nondescript box, no Peepers box, no Peepers soft case, tag torn off, but in the box, AND dirty lenses, which to me all indicates, USED and should be listed as such! I did notice another review that mentioned similar details. They were the same taupe color in a nondescript box and loose tag...yuck, Amazon. When shopping for anything on Amazon, I am always wary of, and avoid third party sellers and choose "AMAZON" as the seller because of previous positive experience. Because this is the first time I have encountered an issue with an 'Amazon' sold item, I deducted only one star. However, dirty, clearly used eye glasses with a missing case is not ok when listed as, "NEW". Not to mention gross. ... show more
