  • Comfy bike shorts with padding where it's needed
Size: XX-Large Color: Black
After a long for bike ride, I remembered why I used to ride in padded shorts. These were affordable, fit well and did not ride down, and the padding helped. Quick shipping too.

  • Good value
I have several of these, they are my regular riding shorts. They last many years and come at a reasonable cost.

  • Good version of this staple biking short
Size: Medium Color: Black
I am a fan of this biking short. The fit is snug but not tight, the stretch is durable. The chamois comfort is good for 1h rides, and I can deal with it for up to a 4 to 5 hour ride. Beyond this, I need to lubricate it to avoid skin irritation. It seems that the older versions were more comfortable overall. ... show more

  • Buyer beware -- these are not the Attack shorts you used to buy from Amazon
I have worn (and loved) Attack shorts for years. I've purchased 3 pair from Amazon and always been thrilled with the quality, comfort and fit. The shorts that arrived yesterday are NOT the same shorts. Poor stitching, poor padding, uncomfortable fit. They're being returned asap. I'm so disappointed in Pearl Izumi as I thought I had found the perfect shorts for me, but now I've got to start searching for an "Attack-like" short made by a quality manufacturer. Any suggestions? ... show more

  • Comfortable for two or three hour rides
Size: Medium Color: Black
Have bought these several times. Design has been “upgraded” over the years and fit is not quite as good as it used to be but still better than cheap shorts.

  • A little more expensive but worth it
Used these shorts 25 times or more so far they are holding up in the wash. I'm an avid spelled ADHD cyclist. Over 2400 miles so far this year and these shorts perform. Buy Izumi Pearl and concentrate on mileage not pulling on your shorts. I've tried them all from Nashbar etc...these are the best, so far spend the money. One extremely important point wash these cycling clothes separately from the rest of the wash because you aren't supposed to use fabric softener of any kind. You'll get longer wear out of them the softener destroys the elastic fibers over time. I have an old pair that were exposed to softener they get white elastic spots on the tops. ... show more

  • does not fit well.
Size: Small Color: Black
I have always liked Pearl Izumi clothing and I have a lot of it in my closet. It is good quality and well made. The shorts I have had for 30+ years are still better than these shorts. I tried three different sizes and they were too big in one place or too small in another place. The size chart said I wore a small but I couldn’t pull them over my hips. Amazon said I needed a large but they were way too big. Then I tried a medium and the hips fit fine but the waist was huge and loose. The fabric is thin and the padding is stiff and bulky. I did not keep any of the shorts I tried and have not purchased a new pair. I don’t think the price is reasonable but that is today's economy. ... show more

  • Pearl Izumi Attack Riding Shorts
Have owned numerous Pearl Izumi shorts for many years, and the thickness of the material has gotten a little thinner. Overall the quality has only slightly diminished a little, the padding is comfortable for 50+ mile rides with minimal chafing. Still my 'go to' riding shorts for all seasons.
