    • This drum set is great for the $$$!
Pearl is a solid drum set. I am self-taught but I can play ok and I have to tell you, i use this drum set in studio. You can always add to it later but with this set, you can play live and it will sound great (just make sure you get the Ziljian cymbals).

We received part of the bass drum and a lower tom; but nothing else. And they called this order complete. We need the snare drum and its stand, the two upper toms and their brackets, the high hat and stand, the two ride cymbals with their stands and the drum rings with tightening bolts for the bass drum, and the bass drum foot pedal. ... show more

    • Great kit, Throw away the Pearl Heads that come with the kit!
The kit is a great kit. The only downside are the heads that come with it. My recommendation is to throw them in the trash. (Just the batter head needs to be tossed) I bought some Evans Onyx heads and they sound awesome. They were less than $40 for the set. A crappy head can make even a high dollar kit sound horrible. ... show more

I had and played a Pearl Export for 18 years and for those 18 years and up to 2020, it stayed between 719$-799$ with the hardware included. The fact that the corporation has increased the price is appalling. I watched as the P932Double Pedal from 2020-2022 rose from 179$ to 300$ So for this kit to be this expensive, is absurd. ... show more
