Been using it for over a year. My suggestion is to replace the heads first. It comes with ones made in China. While the don't sound bad, American REMO seems to sound a lot better to me These drums have been through rain, many gigs (without cases) and they still look great. I haven't had a problem keeping them in tune either. ... show more

Would be 4 stars but 'hardware' consists of nuts and bolts necessary to assemble. Cymbal stand sets etc. are not included and run another $300.00. Don't expect to play out of the box. Other than that replace the cheap heads and your ready to rock. Actually beat the heck out of those heads because they gotta go....... ... show more
