This jewelry is beautiful and a perfect fit for my piercing! I’m in love. I have a very low placement for a septum piercing so the smaller ring is the only thing that looks right. Everything else looks bulky. This is the only 6mm ring I can find that’s suitable for my septum. My only complaint is that it doesn’t open and close easily so I fear I won’t be able to get it out without a pair of jewelry pliers or two, and an extra set of hands. I've now bought this twice. It lasts about 2 months, in my septum, before I start to notice irritation. I notice greenish/bluish tinged crust around the piercing when cleaning it, so I'm assuming that's coming from the jewelry starting to tarnish. The ring has a habit of rotating so the "opal" is through my piercing, so I'm sure that doesn't help. However, for how affordable this is, I expected this eventually. And for the price, I figured I could replace it every few months until I can save up for a higher quality piece. As for the appearance, I love it! It's a beautiful septum ring. It's dainty and pretty and I've gotten compliments on it. It's small and hard to open with just your fingers, but that's to be expected with any septum ring. I use two hook earrings to loop through and give me leverage, and it opens no problem. Overall, it's a good septum ring if you buy it expecting it to only last a few months. ... show more

I bought this in 2022 and it is still in my ear daith piercing in 2025. I haven't taken it out. I sleep with it, shower with it, and have swam in the pool with it.
