This is a warm, fluffy invitation to heavenly sleep. However... if you haven't previously owned a down comforter, you should consider a couple factors. First, down is not quiet... it's a bit "crunchy". For those of us who love down, and want to enjoy that pillow of warm comfort, this is something we recognize (as a light sleeper, I can tell you it won't wake you up, so no worries); if you are set on a silent comforter, consider polyester. Second, in order to ship, these comforters are "compressed". As other buyers have noted, it may take a couple days for your down to spring back to its wonderful "fullness". Third, If you run cold, this wonderful down comforter will definitely warm you up. However, for those who run warm, this is not a "summer weight" comforter; you may want to consider a lighter weight alternative. If you want a beautiful, reasonably priced, down comforter to keep you warm during cold winter nights, don't hesitate to purchase this comforter!

I got this for my daughter, it gets really cold in her room. Im so happy with, she stays warm throughout the night with just the comforter and a sheet. The only thing I wish it had is cover ties for a duvet cover.

This was better than I expected! I love the weight of this duvet insert, it reminds me of a fancy hotel duvet. It is warm ( I got the all season). If you are looking for something that is inexpensive but has the feel that it is expensive then this duvet is for you. Side note, it is a little noisy due to the wicking of the outer cover, but I can get past that!!
