I love that this one has volume control cuz our other one that we really like is very loud and doesn't have volume control. My only complaint is the volume resets when it turns off so you have to readjust it every time you want to use it. It doesn't save the setting so it's kind of annoying. I do like that it came with its own batteries. My baby loves this.

Terrible songs. It says 120 songs but it only plays the same few over and over and they are inappropriate for children. The description says adjustable volume but that’s inaccurate.

Can’t believe I’m saying this, but I love this thing! Once my 7 month old figured out how it works it was a game changer for keeping him occupied. He loves going back and forth with it. He loves the lights. It doesn’t startle him, which is nice. We don’t bother with the music, we just use it to encourage vocalization. I’m fairly sensitive to noise and I don’t find this to be too loud. We’ve had it for about 2 months and haven’t had to replace the battery, but we also make sure to turn it off when not in use so maybe that makes a difference. The only reason I took away a star is because it does look cheap. The “knitted” cactus is super see-through and you can see the stuffing inside. But if that’s not a factor for you, it’s definitely worth picking up.
