I've been a user of PS cologne for about 20+ years. This recent batch that I purchased from Amazon is just not the same as the product that I purchased 5 or so years ago. The fragrance is different (watered down), and certainly doesn't last throughout a normal waking day, anymore. I've actually have empirical evidence by comparing some of my old remaining stock against the stuff recently purchased. I don't believe that this is the genuine product! Buyer beware!!

Did not smell like my usual PS. Smelled fakish. Was not sealed in the factory plastic wrap. Did not have any wrap. I have not received my usual compliments even from my wife.

I have used this fragrance for many years in the past. I had always bought it from a big box retail store. I paid a hefty price. When I saw this offer online I was very interested yet cautious. I am NOT saying this product, from this selle,r is a bootleg knockoff. I AM saying that it seems to not smell as potent OR last as long as the product bought from the brick and mortar store. This is a great value. I use this to refill the 4oz atomizer bottle of Paul Sebastian. I’ve tried so many colognes over the years, all more expensive than Paul Sebastian, and I keep coming back to this one because of how many compliment I get on it, and how much I enjoy the scent myself. Other reviewers have said that the 8oz is weaker or watered down compared to the 4oz bottles, but that has not been my experience at all. This is exactly the same cologne used in the 4oz bottles with a sprayer. I have noticed that this cologne performs much better when it is sprayed on, compared to me just rubbing it on with my hands. Not sure why, but I highly recommend using a spray bottle when applying this.

I put some on my forearms when it first arrived and proceeded to go outside to do yard work. I was covered in sweat and could still smell this stuff. Go close to wife's phone and she had to wipe it down with clorox wipe. Not crazy about the smell but put it in a spray bottle and it's not so bad. Good for light spritz after shower or going to do outdoor activity. Would not use to go to a fancy dinner with female prospect but that is based on wife's reaction to splashing on forearms. So take it for what it's worth just my opinion.

I could not believe the price on Amazon, it was about $35, I normally pay $85 at the major upscale department stores. I was a little skeptical, but thought I would take a chance. When the package arrived I closely inspected it and compared it to my last bottle from Macys, it looked and smelled identical. I wore it for a few days and realized that the scent faded very quickly. I was not the only one who noticed this, some of my co-workers also noticed. This morning when I was putting on the cologne the the liquid on my hands caused the gold on the cap to come off as if I was using paint remover on a poorly painted finish. I have been wearing this cologne since 1985 and have NEVER had this happen. It was very clear to me what I purchased was a $35 counterfeit bottle of a cologne I love. Next time I will buy it from a reputable department store.

I've been wearing this Paul Sebastian for 20+ yrs. I used pay $75.00 for the 4 oz spray. It's a steal on Amazon for just over $30.00 for the 8 oz! A classy and authoritive scent. It goes on strong but mellows to very pleasant scent like no other. Hardly a day goes by when someone doesn't stop me to ask what my cologne is called. It's my signature scent and I'll never change!
