Measured right and straight - great project stock
Size: 1.25
Style: Width 0.25
Steel arrive very quickly and in good condition. The flat bar measured to the specs provided and wasn’t bent or warped at all. There was slight discoloring from oxidation, but it wipes right off (though it doesn’t matter because I’ll be grinding this down anyway when I make my knife.) Chose this thicker steel so that I have enough material to design in a fuller/blood groove. This was also a much better deal than the other sellers.

I love me some Patriot Steel, I've ordered from this company in the past and their steel quality and options are excellent! This new 5160 option is fantastic! Perfect for making high layer Damascus knives. Order with confidence! Patriot Steel is the only company I order my Steel from!

This is going to work. I am going to use as a lever for mechanic work. It is definitely good grade steel and flat. No imperfections that I can see. thanks

Rusty
Size: 2
Style: Width 0.262
It's a nice straight piece but it's not quite 12"... it's rusty and the package it came in was all tore up. I'm glad it wasn't lost. I don't know if I will buy another though. I'm going to use it and see how it works out.
