GREAT for Valentines, halloween, prize bin for dr office, dentist office, teacher prize bin, goody bags/treat bags/party bags Bought these for halloween treat bags and we had some left over so donated to my sons teacher to put into her class prize bin THESE ARE GREAT What you see in the image is what you get..variety of different foam airplanes to assemble (there is a plastic nose piece that you NEED to add to the tip if you want) to help it with flying. The planes are of relatively decent quality, but none of the designs are as advertised in the picture. If the wing shapes and the color differences are important to your kids, it's probably good to give them a heads-up. The designs are printed paper on styrofoam so be careful not to rip them during assembly as my kids did with a few of them. ... show more

Kids like the variety of looks. However, some had peeled back labels and others were hard to assemble... even a couple broke when trying to assmble.

    • It's a 5 inch styrofoam plane. It flies.
I bought these to give out for Halloween, an alternative to candy. Kids love the various little toys and trinkets we've given out over the years. These planes should do the job. Each is in a sealed plastic package. I needed scissors to open. That can be a good thing or not, depending on who is going to open them. The plane assembles easily and flies as well as a 5" styrofoam plane can be expected to fly. Should be perfectly safe for indoor missions. Not enough range or power to do damage. My biggest disappointment, and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5, is related to assembly. The cutout tab is still in the slots where the wings insert. It does not push out with the pressure of inserting the wing, and if you put too much pressure to it, it tends to bend the styrofoam. Fortunately the styrofoam is reasonably resilient so the plane was not damaged. But this happened with both wing inserts. In young hands, this could result in frustration and damage. Some parent or older kid assistance may be helpful. The listing says it is "Child Friendly", which it is. But be aware that there is a small plastic nose piece that comes loose in the package, and slides on (and easily off) the nose of the plane. It might be a choking hazard for Under 3s. ... show more
