Thus far, the pitman arm has been installed, the issue was that it was wider than the original (about 1.5 mm). I had to pry the bracket slightly to get it to fit. Took me 6 hours to put it in and most of my labor was trying to get it to fit. I’ll do the idler tomorrow. I’ll give more feed back then.

Now these parts are nice ! The stuff from Detroit axle no good if you order a bundle of parts they send it in pieces You'll get your stuff apart a week here a week their sad shipping ! Way better looking parts here . I am satisfied with this purchase .Thank you!

Install was straight forward and really tightened up my steering in my 01 Yukon. I waited awhile to post a review to see of any problems came up after install. The only thing I noticed was my alignment was off, but you run the risk of throwing it off anytime you you mess with the front end and also because I was replacing other parts as well ... show more

    • Fix Steering Wander Issues
Cannot believe how much this tightened up my steering on my 2002 Suburban. My vehicle tended to wander down the road, I replaced control arms, tie rods, ball joints, shocks, tires, and the wander was still there. Replaced the idler and pitman arms and it is like a new vehicle.

    • You need a pitman arm puller to remove your old one.
The parts really tightened up the steering system as expected. And went on like oem. The need for an alignment was over whelming.
