I ran out of Parker refills and wanted to stay with Parker. The previous refills were great. I never had any problems. I put in the new Parker refill and it started skipping. You make a line or letter and half is ink and the other half is blank. I tried writing circles and lines over and over to really coat the ball. It didn't help. I threw it away and got another one (same package) and same thing happened. I read about the India versus France manufacturing, so I got the good but old and empty refill out of the trash. Surprise, the refills that worked great were made in India. The terrible refills I just bought are made in France. Everything is going in the trash. I'm done with Parker. It took forget to get these—they had to go through Customs—but this is the authentic brand for my best pens ever. I have 5-6 Parker T-ball Jotters and have used them for more than 20 years! Bring production back to the US if you can!

Good product, arrived from India within three weeks of order date - initial writing quality was a bit erratic and less solid than the original refills from years ago - the old (made in France) refills were excellent, but these are a bit less flawless - the writing is lighter overall and sometimes requires a second pass when printing with a firm hand - writing lightly in cursive is not a problem.
