The first time I used these, they were my parent's pens, and it was the most hideous stainless steel / Dijon mustard yellow that was popular back in the 70's, but it wrote like a dream. I wanted some professional pens that write well, rather than the plastic ones I normally carry around. These don't disappoint. They have the same mechanical actuator feel from that 70's model, and they write beautifully. I love them, but I've had some people say they have a small body and are difficult to hold, so that is something to bear in mind if you're generally not a fan of slim pens. ... show more

I am a big fan of Parker pens. Since I was a little kid, i have always loved Parker Pens. I have collected countless Parker pens over the years and love these newer metallic-like looking barrels with different colors that Parker has come out with. Too short, too thin, and it scratches

I find it too thin and short to write comfortably, to the point where my hand hurts after a few minutes. Also, even the gel cartridge is scratchy and doesn't roll softly across the paper as most other pens do.

I ordered the "Red Kensington Ballpoint Pen & Royal Blue Gel Pen" set to offer as a present, but it didn't come in the nice box shown in the product description. Instead, it came in a plastic blister. The pens are still nice and write well, but the set is not giftable as-is.
