I ordered this to build my collection of quality bicycle maintenance tools. When it arrived, I immediately noticed that this thing in small--about the size of my pinky finger from end to end. That said, it is constructed from thick metal, and all the edges are nicely machined and deburred. I think it is very well constructed and beautifully finished, which I have come to expect from Park Tool products in general. So no complaints there. My only pique is in the fact that this is made in Taiwan as it says on the packaging. Many other Park Tool products are made in the USA, but they decided to make this tool where other cheaper bike tool companies make their tools as well. Nothing against Taiwan of course, but I think it would be nice to have the option to buy products made from around the world, including the US. I know that Wheels Manufacturing of Colorado and Abbey Bike Tools of Oregon have similar Shimano Crank Preload Tools--made in the USA--that cost just a few bucks more than this one from Park Tool, and I would have gotten one of those to support these tool companies had I known whence came this particular tool. Still, I have several other Park Tools that are made in the USA (PT is headquartered in Minnesota).

Great solution for removing non drive side plastic cap from Shimano Holowtech II crank set.
