Size: Remote Control Switching
This device works as described but with one huge caveat, you have to use an external USB power adapter. The manufacturer even posted this as an answer to someone's question here, and it totally resolves most of the major annoying issues. So, go ahead and take out one of your old USB phone chargers that's been laying around in your miscellaneous drawer and plug this device into one of those, rather than using the USB ports on the Switch. This resolves a couple major issues: 1. This allows you to be able to put your Switch to sleep again without it automatically turning back on. 2. This allows your selected game to stay selected and running, even when putting your Switch to sleep. The only minor downside is the device is now drawing a small amount of power 24 hours/day from the external USB power adapter. However, this is only about 0.5 watts so basically a negligible amount in order to solve the major functionality issues outlined above. Note: the cause of the problem is it sounds like Nintendo changed something or added a chip after the manufacturer designed and starting making this 3rd party device, so I don't think it was a design flaw at the time of manufacturing. Luckily the workaround above helps.

This game switcher was a great innovation for us. We’re constantly switching between 3-4 games and the switcher and remote makes it very easy. A tip for all users: plug the power into an external source, NOT the switch and you won’t have any issues with it waking from sleep. We used a spare phone charger (USB-C). Finally, after a year we lost our remote (it’s small and blends in so be careful!) after contacting the company they replaced the whole system for free! Very happy and satisfied with our experience.

Works as anticipated, love not having to switch out game cards. I also found a fix for the device not powering off fully while in sleep mode. Turn off the option to maintain internet connection while in sleep mode on the switch settings. The device will power off as it should when you put the switch to sleep. Hope that helps!! Update: Ill still see the light for the device come on from time to time, the switch maintains sleep mode though. I think its more the internet firing up regardless, another test with just the ethernet adapter, ill see it come on as well.

This thing is great but have a hard time Loading bigger games especially if multiple cards are in the device. If it’s just one or two cards it works better? Not sure why. But sometimes loading LM3 gives errors when other cards are inserted to device. Other than that this is a great device

Pros: - simple to hook up and use - 4 games easily accessible with push of a button on console or included remote - possibly saves wear on pins of game cards or Switch if you’re family plays multiple genres - reasonable price - remote control - solid/seems well made Cons: - third party joycons might need to be removed before docking (Hori Split Pad Pro does not fit) - needs usb for power which Switch has 1, so it’ll need to use that Changes I’d suggest: - built-in small dust cover on the part that goes into the Switch console, there’s a slight gap - color options to match OLED (white) or Mario (red) Switch consoles. Currently using on OLED and doesn’t look bad, just my preference - color labels above each slot, as it displays currently selected slot by color - option to turn off slot indicator light Small gripes, pretty ignorable imo for what this switcher does. 3 weeks in and I am very pleased with it.
