I do art/creative journaling. This means I will use anything in my journal. This is a found gem and will continue to use it for my daily journaling. Best value and size for me. Let's start with the only negative. If you use a wet medium prepare for paper wrinkle. That is the only negative thing I can say. Positive: 1. I have never had bleed-through. Occasionally there will be a little ghosting when stamping with Archival. Everything else I have used has not bled. This includes sprays, India inks, stamping inks, assorted pens & markers, watercolors (including brushos), and walnut stain. I don't pre-treat my pages (gesso), so this is just media vs. paper. 2. Paper is strong even wet. No matter what I have done to a page it may wrinkle but it has never torn. I use matte medium to attach things. I spray the page before and after using watercolor pigments. I have never had a page not hold true to its original size and integrity. 3. Signatures are sewn so pages are in there tight. I have not had migration of wet media via the signature threads. 4. I like the size to use as a daily journal. I do a double spread each day and it works for me. I have been journaling for over 20 years and have used everything from comp notebooks to expensive mixed-media books. It is so much better than most, but if you factor in the cost it is really tops. I still keep mixed media books for projects, but for a daily journal, this is it for me for the foreseeable future. 5. I like the elastic closure. If you do anything like I do it is nice to keep it closed, but my journal never finishes up flat because of all I put into it.

I had previously used a lined paperpage notebook as a sketch book for experimenting with my art, which I really enjoyed using it. I was pleasantly surprised to find that paperpage makes a line-less version of the same note book. The hardcover is sturdy, and great quality. I loved this sketchbook, the color of the cover is beautiful qbd its pretty high quality. The paper though is relatively thin and smooth, though its amazing for markers! Obviously with alcohol markers there woll be bleed through, but i dont mind it's happen with all sketchbooks i've used. I definitely recommend this beautiful sketchbook and will be buying again in a new color when im dont with this one.

I have been using this sketchbook since January 2023 and we have had a wild ride together! It has handled being thrown, being in my backpack for many days, having water spilled on it, the works. Its done it pretty darn well too, considering the front cover is only now starting to tear. Also, this sketchbook has SO MANY PAGES! Ive been working relatively consistently and its only about halfway done. Maybe I just dont fill pages fast but its lasted me so long. And it has a little pocket where I can put silly things. This sketchbook handles pretty much all mediums real well. I have assaulted this sketchbook with SO much watercolor, pens of all types, pencils, stickers, acrylic paint, lino printing ink, glue, and so much random other stuff. It has held up SO WELL. It has RARELY bled and when it did it was just barely visible. the only thing that really happens is the paper warps a little with water as you can see in some of the attached photos. It doesn’t matter to me, but keep that in mind if you hate it. This paper is kind of an odd feel. Its VERY smooth and you might think it wont handle paints well but it does. Anyways, this has been such a good sketchbook and I love it a-lot!! PS. Some medias/things I havent tried yet : gouache, pastels, oil paint, crayons, alcohol markers, ripping out pages, some other random medias.
