There are a lot of games on here, almost too many, but be ready for a bunch of repeats mixed into the library. It’s not a dealbreaker, just something you notice right away when scrolling. At the beginning, a couple of the games froze on me, which had me worried, but weirdly enough it hasn’t happened again since those first tries. Everything has been running smoothly for a while now. The search function is actually super helpful, especially with such a huge list to dig through. Button input feels good and responsive, way better than I expected for something plug-and-play like this. Not much lag either, and the graphics are solid for retro-style games. Once you get past the repeats, it’s a fun setup that does exactly what you want... easy, nostalgic gaming without much hassle. The cables are old, the stick box has a speakers, they are decently small arcade sticks but what sucks is all the cables too. It seems worth the price.

I like this console and would recommend it. The quality is good for home use, but there is a nagging ethical dilemma. The buttons on this console are flat, they are not concave such as found on full size cabinet arcade games. The button quality feels comparable, and I don't expect to have any issues long term. The joystick is noticeably different than what you would find in the arcade, but is functional none the less. Sound quality is what you would expect from a retro game, and is easily produced by the display this device is connected to. This console is not an official Pandora Box product (Google "Pandora Box Platinum official website"). This item is however a Plug and Play emulator with a massive library of games, and is a close knock-off. Amazon is flooded with similar clones, and the official product does not seem to be sold on Amazon. The main difference is that the official "Pandora Box Platinum" does not come with games; this product comes with games, and lots of them. That is where the dilemma lies... Disclaimer: This category of products service a market that operates in a legal gray area. There is nothing illegal about owning this console or even the official "Pandora Box Platinum", but the customer is responsible for acquiring a software license or personally archiving the ROMs that this console requires. The problem is that the game companies (copyright owners) do not make this easy, and sometimes impossible for the end consumer; there is no online store to which you can buy a software license. In economic terms, this is an unaddressed market with a large demand and no supply logistics. However, just like the game companies do not make licenses for the games available at the consumer level, neither do the game companies have the bandwidth to legally address this issue at the consumer level. So there is a lot of unchecked activity that goes on across the internet, which makes it VERY easy to get the software.

This is a really cool arcade gaming console. It literally has so many different games to play, anyone that you can think of arcade wise, is on this gaming console. It was super easy to set up and connected right to my TV. The graphics on the screen are awesome, I was really impressed with the quality. It's definitely a hit in our house for the kids and adults too. After playing with it multiple times, it functions perfectly and brings hours of fun to my family. 10/10 recommend at this price point.

This Pandora Box arcade console brought that arcade feeling into my living room. It comes packed with a huge library of classic titles, but the menu still makes it easy to jump back to your go to games. Setup was straightforward, I plugged it into the TV and was playing within a couple of minutes. Games load quickly and the whole thing feels snappy and responsive, not clunky or slow. The picture looks clean on a modern screen, and pixel art games in particular really shine. The joystick and buttons are the star of the show. They feel like real arcade controls, which makes a big difference with fighting games and older action games that need quick reactions. Inputs register right away with no sense of lag, so combos and precise moves feel satisfying. Because there are two separate consoles connected together, two players each get their own space, which keeps things comfortable during longer sessions. With friends or family on the couch, scrolling through the massive list of games and shouting out old favorites has become half the fun. For anyone who loves retro gaming and wants that arcade vibe at home without a full cabinet, this hits the sweet spot.
