I was obsessed with the Sol de Janeiro Coco Cabana body cream for a few years. I haven’t purchased it for a while and it is no longer available on their website. This Palmer’s lotion feels and smells 95% identical to the Coco Cabana cream. The gel-like texture is spot on. The scent is very close but slightly less strong. The dry down is the same… slightly sticky for a few minutes but then it is completely dry. I loved that about the Coco Cabana cream because I live where it is hot and humid in the summer (and most of the year). Any other type of lotion I use in the summer leaves me feeling greasy and sweaty immediately out of the shower and worse when I get outside. I cannot attest to any firming benefit, but I will continue to use it as a body moisturizer during hot and humid weather. It keeps my skin feeling moisturized but not greasy. ... show more

Our family grew using the Palmer's brand. Especially the cocoa butter. I strayed for awhile but I noticed that the brand put more natural products in their lineup. Now I'm back using each product that appeals to me and my skin is loving them all. The price is right.

Super moisturizing. Idk about firming but I'm sure hoping so. Feels sticky at first but give it a minute then it turns so smooth and soft. I'll def buy again!

I love the firming lotion. I put that stuff on all the wiggles or has been damage by the hail storm...cellulite, lol. Love it for my neck and chest, under arm bat wings, inner thighs and knees. I don't like saggy knees. Some reason, I've started doing body weight exercises focusing on those areas. Hum! ... show more

    • The cream is ok but a bit watery so it comes out fast.
It smells nice and does a decent job. Watch out though as it’s more watery than any other cream I’ve used so it comes out fast and gets used up fast.
