Do note that there are two of the same item for different prices. I clicked on the higher priced one, but it was less than $10.00 difference, so my fault. I like this quilt. It IS a quilt, not a comforter, so it's supposed to be flatter. I only wish they would have put a neutral cream on the opposite side for a little more versatility. The stitching is solid! Following washing and drying it's very soft and no loose threads. It's 100% cotton, so I expected softness. I have a queen size bed. I bought a king size, even though they offered the extra-queen size. I want a quilt to cover the bed both ways. Not to the floor on the sides, but far enough down to meet the bed surround wood on a regular bed with about 14-16" mattress and a box spring. It seemed so big that I wondered if I could get this into my washing machine, but the king fit fine. (I have an old large drum washer.) I washed it normally and dried it on medium or high. (Was NOT what they recommend, nor would I do that with a hand made quilt.) I wanted it to shrink a bit. I believe it did, although the pillow shams didn't seem to shrink. Bottom line is it hits the sides at the right spot and delightfully, comes up high enough to have a nice fold over at the shoulders. Considering what a quilter pays for material, the actual quilting, hours involved, this was a cheap date ---- but doesn't look cheap. Color? I got the sage green and it didn't really match any of the photos in different lighting. It's fine, but reminds me more of faded Army greens. lol Let's say, dark sage.

This is the perfect quilt for our bed. It’s difficult to find California king size quilts that actually fit well. The 100% cotton is breathable and lightweight. We use a cotton quilt year round because I tend to be hot. We add a woven cotton blanket to pull up if necessary. When it arrived I let it fluff naturally for a few hours and then air fluffed it in the dryer. After that I washed it, line dried it and air fluffed it in the dryer again. Nothing pulled or ripped. It’s soft and comfortable. The tone on tone striped stitching is really cool, a solid but not. We really like how it looks great on our bed.

Love this bedding. It’s a really beautiful color blue and feels soft. It’s made well and the stitching design is nice. It fits the bed well and is a little larger than a regular queen size which is nice so it hangs over the sides a little.

Very nice! The fabrication fluffed up well with a spin in the dryer with a few tennis balls, and the color is just as pictured. It appears to be sewn very well and is generous in size - a little over-sized but that's what I wanted. The fabric itself is very nice but did have a peculiar, sweet smell, like a woman's perfume, but I'm sure that was not a human's mistake due to a handling as the item was machine vacuum packed in plastic and then placed in a second zippered plastic casing - obviously not a return item. The smell quickly diminished over night. Overall I am very happy with this purchase!
