I made the decision to switch all of my bedding to natural fibers in an effort to find relief from the dreaded hot flashes that come with menopause. (And as a side note, doing so has helped tremendously.) I was having a hard time finding a quilt that had natural cotton batting as well as the cotton shell. I stumbled across this one and decided to try it. It is made with quality material. I absolutely love the extra size. It drapes nicely over the sides of my oversized king mattress. And it is amazingly soft and seems to get softer with every wash. Speaking of washing, it has washed wonderfully. I was slightly concerned about how well it would hold up with washing given the cotton batting. The first couple washes it did shed a fair amount of lint in the dryer. But after the first couple of washes the lint has stopped and the quilt comes out of the dryer softer and softer each time. I do wash this quilt a couple times a month as I have a dog that sleeps on the bed. So holding up for washes is important to me. This quilt has held up quite well so far and I believe it will continue too. I am planning on buying a second one in a different color in the future as I will be using this quilt year round. It is warm enough in the cooler months with my heavy wool blanket under it, and cool enough in the summer months on its own. I am glad I chose this quilt.

My regular cover was way too heavy and I would wake up sweating. This is a nice product, will work well in summer or winter. I like the color, and the material is nice too. If you tend to get too hot at night, this is a good choice.

Buyer beware this quilt is paper thin. The instructions tell you to lay it flat and don't pull on it to prevent damage 🤯 You can hang it out in a ventilated area without direct sunlight ( don't know what that would do) For the price point i except better quality material. Half afraid to put it in the washer,but who doesn't wash their bedding. The color is okay not as dark as shown in pictures, but the color works for me. I'll update review after I wash the quilt. I always line dry cotton quilts because of shrinking. EDITED AFTER WASHING NEW PHOTOS. Quilt does get quite a bit of lint, shams are not the same size probably 2" difference in length I DID NOT PUT THIS IN THE DRYER ( COTTON SHRINKS) It's not perfect with my curtains but it will do. My pink linen sheets could be throwing the color a little ( Switching to white or cream) Bought king size quilt for a queen bed so I have the longer floor length on sides.

It would have been 5 stars except its delivery date kept being pushed back but when it arrived I liked how soft it was. Washed and dried easily and love that it covers the entire mattress with good overhang. Nice price too.

UPDATE: I've slept with this quilt on my bed for the past few nights. Although my first review was a 4 star rating due to its thickness, so shall I say lack xx cc CTò and thinking it wouldn't be as warm as my other quilt on my bed because it is thinner, I WAS WRONG! This quilt gives the same warmth as my other one that's described in the original review I gave below. I took off one star because this quilt said it's 100% cotton with a 100% cotton fill, but if I didn't know better, I wouldn't have thought there was any fill at all because it's very thin. I did wash it in warm water and tumble dried it on medium heat with the shams only and it did come out great. It did not pill, and because there really isn't any fill, it did not fluff up like I had hoped either. Now, I did receive it in the original vacuum packed plastic from the manufacturer along with the plastic zipper packaging in the box, so it probably would have normally been taken from the vacuum packed package and put into the plastic zippered packaging if it was put onto a retail store shelf, so maybe it would have fluffed up during that time and that is why it doesn't looked filled and flat? However, I have another 100% cotton quilt, it just has a cotton/polyester blend fill, but it's double, if not even triple the thickness and you can absolutely feel and see the fill in the quilt. I use my quilt as a blanket under my comforter and roll my comforter down at night and because of that it doesn't sit on my bed as the actual comforter by itself, so other than it being thinner than I had hoped for, it's probably going to work out better for the spring and summer months instead of the winter months, which I'm not too mad about, although I did originally purchase this to put on my bed now while washing the other one, and it's winter here in PA. Other than that, the price was absolutely wonderful considering it's fully cotton, and I have no complaints!

I bought this mainly for the quilt pattern and for the 100% cotton fabric. It is thin as stated in other reviews but it’s for our Texas lake house so thin is ok for our climate. Quality appears good with no loose stitches or tears. I followed unpacking and it did fluff out a little bit from vacuum package. While the exterior fabric is 100% cotton the fill is 80/20 Cotton/Poly. Overall, very pleased!
