I bought two of these for my brothers for Christmas and they absolutely loved it. The only thing that they didn’t care so much for is the lid. It was very hard to get off and it was very hard because you have to pull a little spot on the side of the lid to get it off. What I mean by pull is there is an heavy plastic strap you have to pull. and if you’re not careful, it will rip interior your lid and it took them a long time to actually pull it to get it off. and then it was hard to put the lid back on because of how it was, but other than that, all the products inside was great. ... show more

This is a great product. It has everything we needed in a convenient bucket. The canvas holder for all the items fits snug around the bucket for easier access. I bought this for my husband so he would have an easier time removing hooks, cutting line, etc. We have not yet used the scaler, cutting board and items related to cleaning the fish, but I'm sure eventually he will get that monster Cat he has been dreaming of and use everything.     • Great little kit with a few modifications!
This is a great little kit. Yes the items are not of the highest quality but they are not bad and there are a lot of them. Some are better then others. I thought the bucket that came with it was a bait bucket but you will need to modify it by drilling holes on the top of the lid to allow air in. I also drilled 1 hole on the side to feed the aerator tube through. Easy fix. This is a great starter kit or for me a bait bucket with spares of everything I already have for a fair price. Probably need to spend a little extra time cleaning anything you use if you use in salt water conditions. Great little kit! Would buy again! ... show more

    • How are you supposed to get the lid open?
Tools seem to be worth it if I can ever get the darn lid open. Seems like I have to break it just to get to the contents inside. I was looking forward to keeping it, so that's already a little disappointing.
