Sadly a manufacturer has provided these parts at a better quality than the original ford product. Im however not surprised as i have come into this issue with ford time a d again. So sad how one of tge very first transportation manufacturers to create and revolutionize the industry is sub par.... soon after multitude of manufacturers shared tge same parts from GM, Ford, Dodge Brothers (later Chrysler Corp. Mopar) AMC, etcetera. But in the 60s or so most manufactured tgeir own patents. Now especially the late 90s-00s quality dropped and 06 and especially currently with build cheap mass profit greed, era of planned absolescence (build to fail on purpose to keep public purchasing growing) vehicles are trash... not one manufacturer is innocent... as far as the engineering of them, foreign amg, Mercedes, especially audi- are way over engineered, ford is under engineered by far and General Motors seems to be the most sound of electrical mechanically engineered.. there are many shortcomings General Motors, not a vow of confidence... and Chrysler... oh boy... where Mercedes and audi are over engineered.... their engineers have proven they have the intelligence to manufacture in the manner just unnecessary.... Chrysler, please take it back a few notches... chill... especially in the electronics and security, databus pcm bcm and audio configuration departments.... Chrysler corps electronics implementation is to what audi over engineered is to.... i digress. ... show more
