I love this painting! It’s definitely challenging but so much fun. Some of the lighter colors you need to put two or more coats on, but I think the paint is great quality and covers well for a water based paint. I’ve found that putting a couple layers on gives the paint finish a thicker, richer look. When I work on my painting, I start with the same color I ended with so I can easily touch up any spots that need a little extra paint from my previous session. Colorful and fun! This is the third paint-by-number I’ve done, and by far the most challenging. Some of the numbers are very hard to see, so I suggest a magnifying glass to assist. Lots of fine point detail, and the paint brushes included were adequate, unlike other PBN sets I’ve bought.

Definitely one of my favorites! Very detailed and the design is not overly "fine art" if that makes any sense (many others I've done are Monet etc). I found the paints to be a bit dry/thick, but that seems to be the norm since I've moved off-brand. I just add a couple of drops of water and stir with a toothpick until it's a nice consistency. No stars docked because it's such a common characteristic of these kits. ... show more

Easy, especially for someone who would not self proclaim as an artist in any form. Easy to read numbers. Nice having reference sheet. Had larger paint areas which was nice that not all parts were tiny spaces to paint. Liked it for a nice project to add to new home. Cons: The paint will need multiple layers. Lighter colors even needed 3-4. Not terrible/ unusual but something to keep in mind. Brushes provided worked fine. Wouldn’t say they’re great so maybe if I were a “painter” I’d use different brushes but overall did what the 3 needed to. Use the tiny brush a decent amount for thin/ small areas. There were a lot of thin areas but stepping back it looked good having them. Just a little painful painting it. Purchased 2 Medog 12x16 Picture Frame Black Display Pictures to frame them since they don’t come in frames. Didn’t cut the canvas in fear of it fraying but paint area is 12”x 16”. Black frame really helped make it look more “finalized” and ready for hanging ... show more

One of the best paint my numbers I've done. I didn't have to mix any paint colors, and it came with a variety of paint brush sizes. Some of the paints were thin, so I had to do four or five coats, but I've had that experience with most kits and this didn't seem out of the ordinary. It is a weird size so if I decide to frame it later I might have to make my own. Some of the spaces are very small, and there are a lot of them, so this is definitely for someone with patience and a steady hand. ... show more

This would be a 5 star review. The only reason I gave it a 3 is because the paint was not dark enough to cover up the numbers on the canvas. Some areas had to be painted again. But overall it's great.

Perfect date night. My husband and i completed these painting for our date and it was so fun. There are two different levels, easy and medium difficulty. This was perfect since I am way more seasoned in the paint by number world. The paint quality was great, as well has the canvas material. The paint brushes are low grade but i use my own anyway.
