Pros: Great price. Nice aluminum construction. Light weight. Infinitely adjustable so you can get the perfect height unlike those multi-sectional poles. Cam lock is easy to lock and release for height adjustment. Cons: not really a con but the base is just a rubber tip like a cane so it's not self standing. might cause it to tip over when trying to set it up. Also the support tip is concave (like a bowl) instead of convex (like a mushroom). Didn't receive any of the other attachments in the description. What you see is what you get. Over all this is a decent support pole. Might buy a mushroom top to replace the cane end, and use the suction cup end on the deck instead. Would buy again ... show more

Had high hopes for these (I bought 2). But after 1st rain, the boat cover filled with water because the poles lean too far over to easily - had a bit of wind and the suction cups on the bottom of the poles just pulled away from the boat bottom due to wind pressure on the boat cover. The rubber suction cups are too soft so the metal pole leans too easily and when the pole reaches a certain angle the suction cup dislodges. Good idea but badly designed and executed. I had some problems installing it, it will not stay vertical. In the end it worked using a string as seen in the pictures. We had snow half an hour later.
