I got this for backpacking as it was touted as being only 3.3 lbs. It's 4.6 lbs. Heavier than expected but I need a chair and it's too late to get a different one for my trip. Disappointed with the extra weight. Otherwise, the chair is sturdy and well built and should hold my skinny butt.

I liked the portability of this chair but the strap is not adjustable and it swings clumsily as I carried it. It has a cup holder that is a little small for most of the bottles I tried. If you are using it for around the campsite I give it 5 stars.

Camping trips needed less bulky chairs to save space. Very comfortable for camp fire, fishing and just relaxing. They are lite weight but very sturdy.

Great little camping chair with a back. Could use a small design improvement however. The back is attached by screws going through the fabric, this can cause a lot of tension if the chair is caught or moved by the back, and it can rip through. It’s less about it being dangerous and more about it just holding up. If the pressure put on the screw could be distributed in some way, so that its more spread out the back would hold up better. Mine tore in the first week or so of having it and I plan to repair it. The thing is for the cost, 15$ or so, and the weight, height, and make of the chair- it really was a worthwhile buy for me. The little carry bag it comes with is a nice feature, but the quality of the fabric is very thin. The chair build itself seems very sturdy and I have been happy with it so far, I just wish the back didn’t tear so easy around the screw attachment to the pole. So far I haven’t seen another camping chair at this price point as tall as this one with a back, so this would still be my choice again despite the tear. ... show more

I use if for playing acoustic guitar outside, e.g., busking, outdoor bars. It works well for that. The back of the chair provides decent lumbar support. It's quite light and portable, yet sturdy. It would be much more stable and comfortable if the seat were a bit larger and the three legs farther apart. I've been bucked off a couple of times. Other male reviewers mentioned testicle discomfort, but I didn't have that problem. The price went up (2022) from about $26 to $34 making it not such a good value. ... show more
