i bought this as a replacement for my 30 year old european king size feather quilt comforter which was very thick and heavy. my house in the wintertime usually goes down to 60 degrees in the house without a heater running at night, even if the outside temperatur is below freezing, the bedroom is even colder because most of the time we have the window partially open for fresh air. when the quilt arrived i was skeptical that it would work to keep me and my husband warm. it came vacuum sealed and was very light, we unpacked it, shook it out and laid it to breeze in the living room, fluffed it up every day for 5 days, still looked pretty thin, i had my doubts. nevertheless, we decided to just try it out, temperatur outside was around 33 degrees, window open. we have two a foam pad over our mattress that stores some of our body heat (just for info), we used a damask duvet cover and went to bed with the new quilt. it was heaven, we barely felt the cover it felt so light and fluffy compared to the old one - and, surprisingly, it kept as very warm, exactly as the information in the description stated. we had the window open, the room down to probably 58 degrees and we were warm. since than we had nights when the temperatur dipped down to 12 degrees, still, nice and comfortable. overall, this comforter lives up to its description . for our climate it is just fine so far, we have not had extreme temperatures this winter, but my house is very well insulated and in past winters, even when the outside temperature dropped to minus 10, our inside never went below 55, which means this quilt would still be sufficient. i also like the construction, my old king size had 30 large buffles filled with down, which often had the down stuck in one corner, cleaning them was impossible because of the sickness, shaking it out was impossible for me and even my husband struggled. this new quild has many smaller baffles throughout the quilt, the filling does not "bunch" up in one spot it is evenly distributed and because it is so light, even i can pick it up to "refluff" the quilt. because of the lower bulk, inserting it in the cover has also made it much easier. LOVE: but what i personally love the best, is this feature: it has small sewn on fabricstrips in the corners and middle to attach the comfortercover. my cover comes with strips in the corners and middle to keep the quilt securely within the cover to prevent shifting. when i change sheets now, all i have to do is knot the cover strips to the quilt strips, shake it out and until the next wash, the quilt will stay securely in the cover without moving around. a incredibly good invention.

I spent a very long time choosing a blanket, carefully researching all the reviews and specifications, reading and comparing them down to the smallest detail. The price difference was often significant. But I chose this particular company and I'm very happy. I think I could write about this brand endlessly, because I'm simply thrilled with the quality.My first impression is that all Pacific Coast products are excellent. First of all, the initial impression is that all Pacific Coast products come in a beautiful, sturdy box with a pleasant aroma, and are vacuum-sealed.A detailed diagram is included showing how to fluff the blankets and so on. Secondly, what attracted me to Pacific Coast was that they use only down in their duvets, WITHOUT feathers. I think they are one of the few brands that doesn't use feathers.It turns out that nothing is bothering me or causing any discomfort anymore. Just warmth and lightness.Thirdly, the blanket fabric itself is very pleasant to the touch, yet dense. And fourthly, the price for all this quality is completely inexpensive.

It’s an outstanding comforter. I’ve bought pillows from this company before. We are returning customers because of how well they’re made. This comforter is incredibly warm. It’s also fairly heavy. We haven’t owned it very long, therefore, I can’t speak to how it well it will hold up. So far, we are very pleased. Currently, we’re getting temps in the low 30s and it definitely keeps us cozy. I’m a buy once cry once kind of person. I’d rather spend extra on some quality that is going to last. With that said, it’s worth its weight in gold!

I am more than happy with my new confortar!! I did a little research and find that Pacific Coast had nice and good reviewed comforters !! So I did give them a try, at first I ordered the all weather and it seemed at first sight to thin for what I was looking for, gave it back and ordered this winter model! I can’t be more happy!! It is perfect, well made, cozy, perfect corner ties and is so nice to sleep in!! I totally recommend it for cool weather, nights are really my happy time 🥰

I would give this comforter a 10 if the stars went that high! I first purchased another comforter from Amazon and returned it same day, as there was NO DOWN at all in the pockets where people sleep and NEED that warmth! This one is FULL and warm and Cloud soft! Highly recomend!
